This man is twisting the holy word of God , David did not say he was the man. He uses the word that Nathan the prophet uses to rebuke David and adds his own words claiming it is Gods word. This man speaks lies to cover his sin. Instead of preaching the gospel he is hyping the crowd by justifying his sin. We all sin call it what it is repent and move on but don’t try to be wrong and strong.😊

If God still has left his breath of life in you, always stand up and tell the devil, and every one on his side, that God can still raise you up again... so I guess when King David looked in the mirror to encourage himself he didn't slash about himself? King David encourage himself by speaking to himself.

Is this man serious? This has to be one of the most narcissistic messages I've EVER heard! And, David did not walk around arrogantly saying "I'm the man". Not only is he twisting Scripture, but he's lying and using things out of context. David had to deal with consequences with his affair with Bathsheba. And, he turned from his wicked ways.

If you know the word of God and study the life of David you will understand that David was in Sin and Nathan the prophet was rebuking him, He told a story to get a point across of David’s sin. David was repentant and in Psalm 52 David said “create in me a clean heart….he went on to tell aGod against you only have I sinned. David didn’t say he was the man Nathan did. There is so much twisting of scripture, David did not say “”I’m the man” when he defeated Goliath …outright lies and blasphemy.

I think you’re missing the point. He acknowledged the sins, but he says he wasn’t sinless and he knows a redeemer, that’s the mission of the cross, that’s why we know Jesus because we’ve all sinned and fell short.

it does seem chopped, but the sermon when i watched it live back in 08, it was 20 min, but this captures the essence of what took place, you really arent missing anything, i cant lie after i watched it then i wanted to buy this message cause its a beautiful message to know that regardless our fallacies and how fallible we are, God called us anyway, and let no man try to keep you from the purpose God intended for us
