Modern technology has virtually brought together the world-famous, reconstructed Ishtar Gate in Berlin’s Pergamon Museum with modern-day Babylon in Iraq for the first time. The ancient babylonians still exist, but babylon was just a city, not an ethnicity. Today, we actually call ourselves chaldean assyrian. Thank you for promoting our history and keeping it safe.

Can you stop saying Assyrians were Babylonian? Modern day southern Iraqis are actually the real descendants of the Babylonians, and no, they aren't "Arab" but actually just Arabianised. Also, the term Chaldean when it comes to your case is merely political and has nothing to do with the ancient Chaldeans of southern Iraq.

@@vadergamerboss6660 the first king of the neo-babylonian empire was Nabopolassar. Prior to becoming king, he was the leading Assyrian general tasked with subduing a rebellion in Babylon. Instead of subduing the rebellion, he joined it, along with 75% of the assyrian military. This is easily verifiable in Google books. Just type in with quotes “Nabopolassar” “Assyrian general” - I have at least 4 sources saved in my library. Let me know if you can’t find it.

I've visited ancient city of babylon more than 4 times and it was awesome experiment , it's not about terrorists attack it's the corruption of government who will destroy the legacy

@Michael Lozano Western countries turned Iraq into a shit show. Now you guys want to claim its artifacts. This is proof that imperialism and white supremacy are still alive in this world. Even when Iraq stabilizes you are gonna use the same excuses that the British Museum uses now to justify keeping Greek artifacts.
