Reunion and Finale are two movements from the sprawling historical epic, Gettysburg, with music by Randy Edelman, arranged for brass band by Andrew Duncan. This performance is by the Yorkshire Building Society Band, taken from the Gala Concert of the 2003 European Brass Band Championships. This year, the contest and concert were hosted from Greighallen, Bergen, Norway.

One of my favorite soundtracks. I fell in love with this arrangement a few years ago. Wonderful playing!

Well said Dave . I always get a bit tearful watching this . Iwan was the best flugel horn player and nicest guy anyone could meet . Rest in peace .

I love they way he stamps his feet and shakes his head after he split a couple of notes !! Total perfectionist and a total legend .
Listen to the sounds this band makes; wow, just wow! Would have been a dream to play in this band. Sheona is one very fortunate lady. None of the bands play like that anymore....the last of the great bands.

Hmm , Sorry but I'm not sure about those comments to be fair . Firstly I think YBS were fortunate to have Sheona playing for them not the other way round, and as regards ' last of the great bands ' ? Cory haven't been too bad over the last few years as well as Brighouse , Black Dyke , Fodens Tredegar . In my opinion they all have a sound that can match YBS on their day .
