The body acts like a capacitor when it comes to conductivity. Thus AC, and the higher the AC frequency is the more conductive the body gets, and the higher the current becomes. @martinlacher7932

    4 жыл бұрын

Exactly! At least one person is stressing this here! It's a thing I believe to observe often with great climbers (also on youtube): They don't do the really basic security stuff, like partner check, then they're skipping holds inside a gym (which from a "role model" perspective is a really bad habit, see @Magnus in this video as well) and then sometimes they are really bad belayers, not attentive and doing things actually wrong (letting go the hand off the rope, holding grigri wrong, too much slack rope etc.) I would be really interested what Magnus had to comment about this, is this a thing among good climbers, kind of being too cool to have to do the basic stuff right?

Excellent point about finishing the knot. Tjis is also why it is gpod practice tp do a quick buddy check between the climber and the belayer. Takes, literally 2 seconds and you can catch eachothers mistakes. Same applies to all risky activities tbh. Diving, skydiving, climbing, driving boats (my job). We always cross check eachother constantly, not because we doubt that we have done it properly, but to catch the 0.1% of the time when an honest, regular mistake happens.

Good job Marta, I think you did great and im inspired by you. don’t be worried about what other people think or how they may judge you, I know that’s easier said than done though. When I go into a gym to work out sometimes insecurities get to me and I start to worry about what other people might be thinking about me and it destroys my focus and I’ve gotten a lot better at just pushing those thoughts away.. meditation and breath work really helped me a lot in that area. I am terrified of heights But there is such a thrill when it comes to bouldering gyms that is very addictive. I haven’t been in a couple years now and you guys have inspired me to get back into it. Best climbing video I've seen in 2020. Getting back to your roots, showing your followers a glimpse of the place that made you into an elite climber plus a lot of what seemed to be some legit psyche and lov for hard climbing/training. Dope content, hope to see more of this!

dude you being young reminds me of myself now, I’m 14, after school almost every day I get a ride to my local rock gym with a friend or two and I climb for a couple hours.

Fell from way high up in a tree once when I was a kid... The trees and woods were our home at the time. We ruled them. Dropped the whole way down, through branches and bush, just dropping backwards fast... Last second my open hands gripped a final branch... STUCK IT... Gathered myself... Looked behind me... A very sharp rock inches from my spine... Beautiful times

Bergen is so beautiful especially because of the old "fisher trading houses", I was there 2 years ago and I have to say it was the most charming (bigger) city I have seen on my trip in Norway (We also visited Stavanger, Kristiansand, Trondheim and Alesund). Best wishes from Germany

Really nice to see some climbing videos that feature something different from the many bouldering channels that I'm following. I mean, I enjoy them as well but it's nice to have something different, especially since this is the kind of climbing I prefer (though I've only been doing top rope so far, hoping to catch a lead climbing course in April but not certain it will work out because it also has to be lined up with at least one of the two people I'm climbing with). Also as someone who is learning to climb I really like seeing Marte's developing skills alongside your more veteran climbing and the advice you give her is really interesting.

Also it awesome to see Marie again, love seeing her improve, always so happy, encouraging and a smile that is contagious 😁❤️

Thanks for posting this video! I think it's always nice to remember/recognize where we came from, or where we started (in any aspect of our lives). Also, you should post more lead climbing (or top roping) videos. I really enjoy all of your videos, but because of an injury a few months ago I can't boulder any more, so I really liked watching this one even more! 💪😍🙏
