I cleared all my USMLE exams with scoting in top percentile after becoming doctor in India. Would have gotten post graduation at a decent Hospital. But I left it my USMLE journey. And have started my NEET PG preparation ( Indian post-graduation exams for doctors). Your video had been of great help. Keep making videos, with much more deeper thoughts. Grate salute to you.

we are living in times when after ww2 ....the world system is undergoing a change ...being in lndia is a better bet

Hi Pawan , After hearing you looks like we have been pressing the snooze button for 10 years 😢 You are so clear and hats off to you . Each and every thing you said is so true .Emotional well being is something that kids are missing out and it is so crucial for their development. You are right that this is a trap , we keep delaying and delaying till it’s too late . You spoke from the heart , I agree with kids angle which is what me and my spouse are facing . How did you convince your daughters Especially Elder one to move back ? My only child girl is 10 but not open to returning to India but happy to visit . Please advise . Keep making more videos , you are helping those stuck in this dilemma of returning back 🙏🙏🙏

To be honest with you I was also confused and in dilemma so went through exactly what are you going through🙏 I told my daughter honestly what we are trying to achieve and we need to help each other during this process. If NRI is a citizen of Australia or any country they are living in, they definitely can come and see if they like to live India after spending few years outside. Few of my friends are US citizen and living in India for a while and their kids going to college in India as well but some have returned back to US after 4-5 years in India. So different people different priorities but unless you try you won’t know at the same time leaving comfort zone and readjusting to new city would have some challenges. But again you are born here so you will figure out and would love to be back. Thanks Nisha for your comment. Please let me know if I can help with anything else.

Hi Pavan bhai. I am 40+ ( soon will be 41). Come from a small-town in India. Started job in Mumbai and left India in 2008. Till now i always have the zeal and inner wish to go back, but was missing the trigger. Almost simar to you. Things changed recently. I am getting the trigger now.. i feel my root is getting disconnected slowly. I have already lost my parents, but siblings and in laws are thr. If i want to go back to my home town, how can i cope with the job? How did you manage to get your IT job in Indor?

Hi Iquest, Thanks for sharing your journey. Return to India will come to every NRIs mind given the situation and trigger. IT job in home town comes with adjustments, which mean low pay. I am also not in home town and trying to be in home town as much as possible, but being in India gives you flexibility to go to home town and meet people more often then from US.

But I have the fear that life in these places will still keep me far from my town. If kids start living there, moving them again to my home town would be difficult. I feel that kids can have a stronger root and attachment in their home town.

@@iquestfind-ut1qm I am in the same phase. I have to move Bengaluru and life will be good. But mind playing tricks. I dont have children. I have possible cititizenship if I stay for 1 year. But then that was not my goal. It can be a challenge to let go at times. Soometimes, the intangibles in your environment change you. "Moh" ban jaata hai. Its not just this decision. In life, we keep getting entangled.

After hearing you,i felt like I am loosing my values for some extra dollars

Hi Rahul ji, Sorry my intention was not to make you feel bad about your decision. USA or any other country you live in is equally good but I was not able to fit and was not content. II am just sharing my experiences and it may help you or someone else in some ways.🙏 Again the decisions we took to go to abroad was right at that time , to become financially better and career was. Today we may need to take some other decision based on conditions and our feelings. Thanks for your comment and hope you get what looking for.

Thanks for your comment @vinu552 , There is no place like hometown and you would always feel alienated in other towns but that feeling exemplified when living in other countries. You won’t be able to relate to many things in other countries like you would do in India.
