Well the real problem maybe we return for returning values but if you don't know then it actually behaves as a something that can control the main loop of the program, it can send the control back to the top of the program to run it again, this strange behavior is confusing me because I want to use it control my main loop. I want to use it send the control to specific points in program, I know it's probably also possible with goto keywords also or interrupts but I wanna use return cuz of that strange behavior. Can you help me with that.
Thank you Mike, I finally "got it" with your explanation. It took a lot of watching bad KZread explanations before I finally found yours. Cheers.
Taking courses now with google and I swear... This guy explains everything clearer than every other online course that i've taken, thanks! I wish i knew about this 3 years ago, haha

Okay but I still dont understand clearly
I was about to give up on return function before this video, you are a real life saver thanks!
I was so confused about what a return statement did going through the google python crash course on coursera. This explained it very clearly and I can't thank you enough. I'm so happy I happened to click on this link first and saw that you have a website with free intro courses to both Python and SQL. You're a life saver because I didn't have money to keep throwing at all of these online courses. Thank you so much

REALLY.....I too finally understand the difference between 'print' and 'return'. I watch 15 videos on this topic and none of them clearly explained the difference. NOW I get it. Thank you so much. From now on - I'm STARTING with your videos.
Keep up the good content. I have been running though studying Python on my own and tend to miss little things like what you covered in this video. Thank you!!
You're a genius my man, I love how WELL you explain things.
Thank you so much!! I was soo stuck on return statements for my college python class and you helped me understand it so much more clearly in actual English! I liked and subscribed!!

Bro, thanks to you i can FINALLY understand what this is about.

thanks so much man ive been wondering so long to grasp the return concept , now i got it . !
Took me forever to figure it out until I watched this video. Thank you!!
Crystal clear explanation of Return!
currently studying python with udacity, they ove-complicated something you described so simply, i actually understand it now. Thanks!
It’s honestly insane just how much I’ve learned from your videos. In the past 3 days alone, I know more about Python than I ever have, and I’ve barely even scratched the surface. I’m excited to learn more and thank you for teaching me so far
Thank you man… the return statement finally makes sense
You know a person is a good teacher if they anticipate what you're thinking and preempt it with guidance on why that doesn't work. I was thinking, "well, I could just print that" and he showed why print doesn't work in this case. And, in 6 min, he got his point across vs. "go to" websites that teach Python where you have to scroll and scroll through their lesson. Ain't got the time for all that.
Thank you SO much! I was so confused on all the guides, and something with foo and bar or some shit like that, now I understand how this works!
