Well, this was really nice to watch. Ikarus buses, DAC, ZIU and Ikarus trolleys and a lot of old cars (Trabant, Lada, Wartburg etc.). It captures the spirit of those times nicely. The author of this video caught a very interesting bus in Varna, probably by accident: at 2:29, you can see a Slovenian-made bus, TAM 260 A180M. This bus was powered by a V8 air-cooled, naturally aspirated engine, licensed by Magirus Deutz. I think the articulated version came only with a 3-speed Voith transmission (you can hear it a bit in the video). The solo versions (260 A116M - city, and 260 A116P - suburban) had the FAMOS (ZF) S4-90 (city) and FAMOS (ZF) 6MS-80 (suburban) gearboxes. The bodywork was made by Autokaroserija Novi Sad, and, I think that, after the desintegration of Yugoslavia, that job was taken over by Avotmontaža Ljubljana. Although these buses were relatively common in former Yugoslavia, I think I've read online that their reliablity wasn't the best, especially the articulated series. However, I can't tell anything from personal experience, because I've never had a ride in any of those models. Probably the most well known cities that used the articulated model were Novi Sad, Zagreb, and maybe Šibenik. I've never even heard that the TAM 260 A180M was used in Bulgaria. And considering that it says "TAM MARIBOR JUGOSLAVIJA" on the bus, I would assume that this was a test vehicle of some kind. If anybody knows anything - feel free to reply. So, besides being valuable because of a lot of old Ikarus buses, this video's value is increased by the presence of the TAM. Praises to the author.

Yep this TAM is only for tests, never work regular in Bulgaria.

Благодаря за видеото! Икарусът е бил и ще остане най-добрият автобус за мен. Страхотен дизайн, вместителен, разстоянията между седалките в него са достатъчни. Огромни стъкла - всичко в него по отношение на дизайна е супер. Сегашните автобуси технически възможно и да са по-добри, но като дизайн едва ли Икарусът ще бъде надминат. Когато учих в София, имах свой любимец Икарус, който е обслужвал тогавашната 109 автобусна линия "Сточна гара - ж.к. Люлин I и II". Това бяха щастливи времена...

Хубаво видео, но няма ли кадри и от другите градове в България? Всеки ден виждаме кадри от тези градове и е хубаво да видим нови. По това време в България е имало много съчленени Икарус-и!

So strange to see a lot of Moskvich 2140 cars outside the USSR. I know about local assembly though. Are some of the trolleys from this video assembled by Chavdar?

In Bulgaria to 1995-1997 year big part of car park is Moskvitch and Lada
