Retrieving a Land Rover frame, resting for over 22 years. (Part two, retrieval)

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Taking the 5MGE, 66 109" Land Rover to get a spare frame sitting for 22+ years. This frame was originally purchased for my 67 NADA restoration in 2001 from the infamous Creed Evans. It was damaged upon arrival and quite obviously did not have its original motor mounts among other things. (The damage was blamed on the shipper, who denied the claim, stating the damage was already existing. With no proof, I was left holding the bag. Never mind that the motor mounts were not even original as claimed.) So the original frame from my NADA was reused and this one sat. It was almost sold a few years ago, but remained sitting due to the distance of the interested party. Now it's going to be repurposed for a 1961 109" getting a 350 small block and TR4050 transmission! But the actual condition is a bit of an unknown, at least until it can be sand blasted.
Looking back, I'm shocked that I even received the frame at all. I also purchased a "new old stock" NADA fuel tank, which was completely rusted out upon arrival...
Much of the first part of the video is just driving the country roads in Mississippi to get there.
This is the first time in many years a vehicle or trailer have pulled into the backyard at my mother's house.
