Just showing how smoothly it runs. No harm done. Remember these things run at 7000rpm at 70mph. 100mph is 10,000rpm. Revving a properly warmed up engine does no harm. It's revving a cold motor that causes damage, which I never do.

I had one in '73. Bought it used after the guy had it for 6 months. They're pretty nice. I've never seen one with a white frame. It'd take some getting used to. This one looks really nice. I think they're a perfect balance between the reasons people buy motorcycles. To get that balance, none of the portions are at their best, so people that want a higher top end won't be satisfied. Those who want fast off the line won't like it. But overall, I loved it. Have fun with it!

My worked with .010 off. From 0.55 to 0.045. Now I need to see if it works in the range with the recoil. If it doesn’t then I’ll take 0.05 to 0.010 more. Thanks for the vid. This gun literally has 6-8 rounds thru it because I wouldn’t hold the magazine.

Rather silly to have made a bike with less than 90cc's per cylinder. For the weight of the bike, it could have been a smooth running 500cc twin with better torque and HP and be cheaper at the consumer level.

They are so smooth running though, I bought it after the first test ride. I hit 100mph at 10,000rpm on this bike. But it really needs a 6th gear. With that, it would be a much better highway bike. I love the later 400cc Supersports as well and the 500's, but still no 6th gear on those either! Hell, Ducati didn't add it until 1991 or 92...

@@jfrance130, I repaired a flat on a rear tire on one of these 350's for a gal back in the 1970's. She gave me a bunch of crap because I had to remove 1-2 of the mufflers to get the rear tire off. Maybe the dealer could get these bikes raised in a way to avoid removing any mufflers, but I was dealing with limited resources and means. Such gratitude, was glad when she left. My dad had the first 4-cyl 500. I was never a fan of having more than 2 cylinders on a bike. One can only legally drive so fast and the added weight of a 4-cyl engine never impressed me. I also preferred more torque at lower RPM's on twins. I had 2 Honda 450's, one was a 1968, the other a 1970, both CL. My last bike was a 1977 650 Yamaha twin which was the best bike of the 3.

@@paulturner3553 To each his own I suppose. I've always liked the 4 or even 6cyl bikes a little more than the twins, unless it's a Ducati twin! I test rode an R1200 and then a K1200S back in 2008 and the K1200 made the R feel like a snail. One of my first bikes was an 82 Yamaha 650 Maxim, and it was a fast sucker, although not really a looker. Nothing else sounds like these 6cyl CBX1000's! kzread.info/dash/bejne/f3aW1c2qk8rZj9I.html

.45 Win. Mag. has been one of my favorite cartridges for a theoretical Magnum PCC/PDW. Just recently, it has been surpassed by .450 Magnum Express, as that really begins to fall into the territory of case length & pressure rating that i tend to find myself preferring to theorize with. I, unfortunately, however, am not so sure what the .450 Magnum Express's specifications truly are, but if what i heard is accurate, and it truly does match .454 Casull, then i would really like to see what velocities it produces from a wide range of barrel lengths, firing various weights & types of .358" & .375" diameter projectiles and what their terminal effectiveness on artificial ballistic dummies is! 👍🥰👍 Edit: Fixed various typos and grammatical errors. 🌹

I also love the 45 Win Mag. The 450 Mag Express is very difficult to find and really is a dead cartridge, I was just fortunate to get some with the revolver. With modern powder, it would probably be possible to reload the Win Mag's to the same (if not more) power of the Mag Express.

I have one also! All 3 Cyl’s. Inc .45 LC. What length is your barrel? Mine is 7.5” Also, mine is a bead blast finish. Not polished like most I’ve seen. & that looks to be factory.

The 45LC cylinder is pretty rare. I've seen very few with that cylinder. The bead blast finish is also less common I think. All of them had the same barrel lengths. I collect stuff in 45 Win Mag and had been looking for one for a while.

It must have been towards the end of the run because my .450 Cyl doesn’t look like they finish machining it. I thought about having it reamed for .454 Casull. But have been on the fence about it.

Thanks! I love em. I have another one with ITB's that will be going in an MGB GT. I was going to go with the Electromotive system on it as well, but now that the company folded, I don't know! Makes me wish I had looked a little harder at Megasquirt in the beginning. I assumed that the TecGT unit would be fairly easy to tune, and it is, but if you're starting with basically zero ecu tuning knowledge, it takes a while to get everything dialed in. I'm over 70 versions in on my tuning file to finally get it sorted.

@@jfrance130 dude just order a micriosquirt or the better unit i am a cheap ass so i got the microsquirt .stay away from speedunio arduni ecu it has timing control issues .but one cool thing with microsquirts is one can use a cheap tablet as a dash of guafges heck that costs 500 bucks ior more with holley or what ever to have a lcd screen if you wanted to rig one up even can do tuning via Android with it .just a neat option they have

sweet i am refreshing a 5mge now a pplus guys love that engine i may get delta cams to regrind them i will be using ECU microsquirt and gt35 turbo ford coil edis type coils or coil on plug and trigger wheel 36.1 on crank i love megasquirt ecu`s i hope to see more

I had Delta do two sets of cams for me. They do a good job. I decided not to go turbo, because I don't really have the engine space for it, and the clutch is not that big on these motors.

@@jfrance130 yea clutch up grade options{ from memory} marlin crawler 4x4 web site and 7mge stuff listed that way i forget some of my recherché but marlin crawler can help and 7mge pressure plates are the same and like a 1991 22re pick-up stuff i looked up a bunch of part number years ago via rock auto and found way to do it to 5mge i may be getting off a bit but i think what i typed is right .so a high performance pressure plate for a truck or the news supra with fix weak pressure plate issue we have .ATTN i hope the grammar is readable

Should have posted link in the info section. The write-up is on Paco Kelly Leverguns. Yep, started out as a .357. The bolt and mag tube are original, but everything was heavily modified to feed the rimless cartridge. She's a treat to shoot though!

Currently holding 8rds, with just shortening the mag spring. Could probably go to a lighter spring altogether and get more.
