I’ve been lucky so far with the water. But it’s only been about a year. Check in with me in a few, I’m sure it will leak👍🏻

Just used your video to install mine. Those plastic hex screws suck. Ended up stripping two and had to use pliers to turn them. Not 100% straight but looks darn good.

Make sure nothing has fallen inside or it’s loaded with any kind of built-up sand in the tracking system. If you try to open it and it’s stuck take a hose and maybe spray out the inside it could be debris built up or because you have opened it in a while. you might have to give it a nice even push from both sides at the same time. if it’s the lock you spray it with some WD 40 then give it a few taps and it should unhinge and open

I was gifted this cover, but from a long bed truck. Is it possible to adjust it to fit my shorter bed? Even if I have to grind some rails down lol I really want it😅

At 12:45 you can see the rail covering the tie down location. Is there a solution to still allow me to add a Bull Ring in that area and use this cover?

Having a tough time deciding between the mx and xr rails. For only roughly $120 more should I just get the xr rails and have em in case I wanna add on later? I just prefer the flushed look of the mx rails more.

Nice video. I'd like to get the MX Pro, but I also need to install a ladder rack (Thule TracRac SR)). Are the stake pockets fully/partially covered by the side rails?

Fully covered. I chose this one because I’m not going to be loading this with any garbage or anything large. I have an extra trailer to use to beat up. This cover also takes up some front room to keep in mind. Thanks for watching C👍🏻

Great video sir, appreciate ya. Do you happen to know if the power tailgate will open and close properly with this cover? I can’t see why it wouldn’t of the spacing is set correctly but thought I’d ask. Thanks

My power tailgate opens just fine. I do not have power close but it closes just as easy👍🏻

Thanks for the installation video. Is there a way to “lock” the cover to the bed, in case you wanted to leave the cover open to keep someone from stealing it, or forgot to lock it using the handle lock?

That’s a good question. I’m gonna have to think about that and see if I could figure out a way to design some type of a lock or drill a hole through the frame and the unit itself or maybe attach something to the main holder and then into the bed.

Were you able to align it better? It would drive me nuts to have it shifted more to one side than other. Couldn't you adjust white screws in on one side and out on other side to get it perfectly aligned?

Hey Brother, your detailed video was awesome, and Sonny/Sunny is a cool dog too! And, your F150 looks wicked good too. Just received my Retrax Pro MX for my 22 F150 Screw. My Son-in-law is helping me out tomorrow, so I have an extra set of hands. I really appreciate you taking the time to record and post the video. This will give us a head start on how to approach the install and what to expect. Plus, get us to beer and football much sooner! I really like your wheel and tire combination too! I noticed your in CT. I'm on the shoreline in NL County. Did you do the new wheel/tire install yourself? Or did you go to a shop? That's my next Mod, once my factory Michelins are worn. Thanks for the nice comment bro. My truck was actually all done by the dealership before I took ownership. I’m in CT and I bought the truck from a dealership in Kansas and also had them installed leather interior due to the fact the actual factory where it was built wasn’t far from the dealership. Good luck with the top. Take your time👍🏻

Wire your truck to 220volt line and turn it on when you go to sleep. The thief will move onto the next one😂

Great video thanks. Mine was installed at the dealer and recently added a bedrack which threw off the spacing I think bcz the cover won’t slide. When you tweaked the white bolts to adjust the rail position, did you do that with the clamps removed?

@@HighRidgeHandyman many thanks. Got it sorted - turns out the bedrack install pushed the spacing off a bit, which led to the passenger side set screw jumping out of the track and getting wedged against the rail. That was the hold up. All good now. Thx again for the vid

Your supposed to measure between the rails. Measure up front at the the box and work your way to the back. Adjust evenly on both sides so it stays square on the bed.

Great video. Is it still holding up well? I'm still researching for when/if my truck gets here. I also wanted to ask what your wheel setup is, looks clean.

Holding up well even thru the winter. I was concerned about it freezing during the winter with the snow and all but it’s been good so far👍🏻 The wheel set up: 2inch suspension lift 20” fuel Rebal wheels 35” Fuel A/T tires Hypertech speedo calibration Finish off with wheel alignment. What is the difference between this and gator trax? Looks the same?

About 4-600 dollar difference 😂 Read the specs I’m sure the retrax is a little better quality being that it’s 400 to $600 more. Research both but if you can save that kind of cash I’d go with the gator trax👍🏻

Where did you order the new drain plugs from? Part #? Great video. Getting ready to install mine this weekend.
