Retire early, be financially independent - Retirement strategy planning with gold prospecting

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

I’m living the perfect retirement, and you can too! Want to be living on your own terms and not reporting to a boss or fretting over sales if you are a business owner. Retirement is great and I can’t recommend it highly enough! I retired 12 years ago and I’ve never looked back. I’ve looked at my video statistics, and a large percentage of my audience - male or female - is of an age that you should at least be thinking about the possibility of retirement - and some of you are close enough to that you need to be looking at it real hard. Retirement strategy planning is a critical thing that many people leave undone because it is difficult.
For those who want to learn more about prospecting and finding gold check out my book, Fists full of Gold. It’s an encyclopedia of everything on the topic of prospecting. It’s available on Amazon. You can find it at (affiliate):

    This comment made me laugh! I wish, oh I wish my husband would see the forest full of trees or fist full of gold. He hears me, completely agrees with me & yet can NOT make a good decision to literally save his life. Chris's wife and partner & yourselves too I assume, had more than a hand in how early retirement starts. I listened to Dave Ramsey for years now. in Northern California on the radio & now I listen to his podcasts. It's very difficult when you're married for 24 years and as adults have night & day outlooks on finances. I've given up! Stories like yours make me smile though.

    @@nikkiloves78 Haha, a little at a time is the way to eat an elephant! Just keep heading in the right direction. In 2009 I was laid off, had mountains of debt with little to show for it, and almost declared bankruptcy to save the house. Today I am baby step 7 with almost no money worries whatsoever, in fact I was laid off a couple of months ago and figured I would just take the fourth quarter off for holidays and such, relax and get back to work next year 😁

    Hey CHris...I retired at the same age, just a different method. All I had to do was treat my body like it was rented for 30 years...:) Wrecked my spine. But I quit soon enough to spend what time my spine has left to go do what I want...like prospecting! Fortunately, with disability, we won't starve. Great commonsense advice here Chris, thanks again. I have an unrelated question: Have you heard of Goldback currencies, and would you trust them?

  • @ChrisRalph

    @ChrisRalph

    5 ай бұрын

    Gold backed currencies are only as reliable as the backer. If the backer takes off once he has enough gold, you will lose all. It has happened in several instances with bitcoin already. When I was a boy, the US dollar was backed by gold. It isn't backed by anything now.

  • @glentomkins3426

    @glentomkins3426

    That's true in general. I'm thinking of a specific type of currency with the name Goldback, which I saw used in a small remote town on a video. They issue currency notes in the names of several US states which they claim contain 1/1000th of an ounce of gold or silver, and I've seen them sold for rather inflated prices by online retailers. Is there any way to know if their claimed gold content can be trusted?

    The only way I can think of is to do a chemical test that would destroy the bill.

  • @glentomkins3426

    True, I'd probably need to assay it to be sure. It's pretty hard to measure 1/1000th of an ounce any other way. Thanks Chris.

Also we all believe that god loves us and wants the best for us, so if you are interested You can do your research to find out about (riba)s economical harms to individuals and society.
