How to prospect for 3 rare types of gold deposits, learn about their geology and formation
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
Would you like to hunt for some little known but sometimes rich varieties of gold deposits? They often carry with them silver and some base metals as well, making them quite rich. When they erode, they can make placer deposits too - and that’s one of the ways of finding them. In fact, some placer deposits where no one knows the source of the gold may well come from these types of lesser-known deposits. Perhaps you could be the one to discover the source after watching this video! The three types of ore deposits we are going to look at today are all associated with bodies of granitic / felsic related igneous intrusive rocks. The nature of the ore deposits vary in type with the chemistry of the intrusive rocks, the depth of emplacement of the intrusive body in the crust and with distance from the igneous intrusive pluton contact. The three types are 1) skarn deposits, 2) polymetallic replacement deposits and 3) polymetallic vein deposits.
I mention my video on epithermal deposits in this video. You can find that video here: • You can find Bonanza r...

The deposits in the video have much more silver and gold, and they are associated with nearby intrusions of granitic type rocks. Mississippi Valley type have much less silver and gold and are not associated with nearby intrusions of granitic type rocks. Both are found in limestone rocks and are frequently rich in lead-zinc.

@@ChrisRalph actually Chris there are intrusive formations of rhyolite and granite and it is intruding through limestone. The Saint Francis mountain in Madison county Missouri is a very rare and prime example. Geologic maps show granite. One of the largest producers of granite. Iron mountain. This trend continues in the Ozark plateau region. I’m in iron county Missouri and have found intrusive granitic rocks with hydrothermal activity as well. So, very interesting analysis. With that being said 30 percent of lead mines contain gold and there are many here. Don’t get me wrong Chris I’m not attacking your response. I’ve found ore piles as well, breccia quarts cemented with manganese. There is no lead or noticeable minerals in this breccia except manganese. I’m just very passionate. The ore coming out of viburnum is a dolostone which i believe is metamorphic sedimentary, but I have located intrusions of igneous slowly being revealed through erosion. Im not trying to kick a dead horse here my. Great conversation, thank you for allowing me to pick your brain. God bless.

Hey Chris, I live in northern nevada and have been watching a lot of your content and poking around my community Cold Springs. Are you familiar with the area? Specifically there’s several massive waste rock piles right off 395 on white lake parkway to the right side. I am not sure what was mined there and I have been unable to locate a portal or adit but I have found incredible quartz specimens and also a lot of rich copper rock with the green/blue oxidation. The area seems to be a massive granite extrusion that meets up with a volcanic slate type rock. Curious if you have any knowledge or info on the area considering your a fellow Nevadan!

Very interesting! Would prospecting in an area with hot springs be a waste of time or maybe productive?
@ChrisRalph
2 ай бұрын
It could be worthwhile, but no guarantees. There are a whole lot more hot springs than there are gold deposits related to hot springs. The type of gold deposit related to hot springs is not any of the 3 on the video you watched, they belong to the type I talk about in this video: kzread.info/dash/bejne/dIZ70s6QkrXOZc4.html
I wish you were close to me in western pa. I'm going to change what prospecting history has written for PA. I have so much material that I think if you were to see it, you would be very surprised and likely excited. I think all of the gold here is Super fine. So much so, that people didn't even notice it. Here in Indiana Pa, I live in basically a topographical fishbowl and it shows in the rock/mineral deposits.

I can’t find one using copper sulphides. Not one that actually works. There seems to be always something missing. It could be a huge success. Like you said in the video, these are times of alternatives, as deposits are depleted. Hello teacher, don't be tired, I am following your programs from Iran. I asked you if it is possible for you to teach me about extracting precious metals from rocks and soil through WhatsApp or Telegram. I will talk to you with Google Translate. Thank you. Your kindness and magnanimity, from the way of lithology, the characteristics of the stones you have are precious metals, until we can grind the stones and extract the base metal with borax and carbon (charcoal) and the combination with the primary stone that we powdered. and then perform the purification of precious metals, and why during the initial melting, two pieces of iron or steel are placed inside the plant, in general, what I am saying is that I want to extract metals from the heart of rocks and soil and find them from inside the houses. I want to learn the gold nugget from the soil of the house, is there a way for your programs to be subtitled in Farsi?

We studied how minerals all form in the earths crust in Petrology in school... primarily all minerals form from one mineral amalgam and its the decompression and cooling rates that cause all of the different types of minerals to form. (Seemed far fetched to me), but consider a liquid core churning and mixing and you could easily have one substance from which all minerals are made as they cool and decompress at different rates. No doubt heat and pressure and cooling are all factors in the makeup of the earths crust and its minerals.
