8:17 “There is a growing amount of evidence out there now showing that reduced working hours in the form of a 4-day week is beneficial for individuals performance through reducing their levels of stress and improving their lifestyles, through improving team collaboration and performance, through improving business performance, including revenue generation, and more broadly, leading to a more sustainable and equitable world for us all.”

Totally support a 32hr 4 day week, I just don't seeing it becoming the norm until the key power players across the global adopt it. Only then will the sheep companies follow.

I don’t make enough money to survive working 1 job. A 4 day work week would interfere with my second and third jobs. I work 85 hours per week average. Hopefully that never touches any of my jobs or I’ll have to go elsewhere.

Dr Dale speaks about a 4 day work week where you work 80% of the time you worked before but you get 100% of the pay.

In theory, this approach would allow you to make the same amount of money, working the same jobs, in 68 hours instead of 85 hours.

If this version of a shorter week were to pass you could work 80% of each job and and get 100% of the pay. This may become necessary as automation and computing power accelerate. Add in universal basic income and we can began to have more actual Freedom.
