wow I used to play arma years ago. And that was that you sit in ambush without radio or something for an hour until it turns out that the whole battle was on the other side of the map and you team lost. Or you sit in ambush for the same damn hour, and suddenly an air strike arrives - and again, you lost. Now it seems different. Like a game it should be from the start. Like it.

Love the casual content, but can't help to wonder what it would be like to have a situation like KC lib, where like in real life, it's a mix of various small units duking it out for swathes of territory, but spearheaded by elite mobile infantry and armor units (I.e. KOG or Ukrainian SSO irl) making a breach and letting the chaos in behind the lines. Can't wait to see more of this type of stuff!

Yeah it seems like he's always taking the position of a PL or even a CO which is a very niche sort of thing for a civilian to learn for sure. He's probably got more leadership skills than the average manager as a result

Given how he's giving orders to platoon leaders he's playing the role of a company commander or higher, and people like that that do their jobs properly IRL do not fire their guns very often except in self defense. The only firefights he participated in directly in this entire video were in unexpected situations where there were enemies that weren't supposed to be there, when he "found" the occupied trench system(and was lucky not to get domed right there) and then when the fireteam declared another trench cleared when it wasn't. So overall, I´d say he did a good job.

Veteran here, never saw combat like this but it depends heavily on terrain. This is no where near as tragic as war obviously but judging by videos of the war in Ukraine it's rather similar
