Chris you are very skilled with the manual guide, could you show videos of you doing the programming as well? I always follow your videos and I'm from Brazil, I work with the same command as you on the cnc lathe and I rarely use the guide, I'm still a layman, A hug! 🇧🇷🇧🇷

Probably because he wanted to use the self centering capability of the 3 jaw chuck when clamping on the ID of the part.
