Which is exactly what’s happening. Over-inflated economy, massive layoffs, freeze in hiring, imminent world war, and weather that is destroying human outposts. That’s not even including the turmoil within citizens here in the US, massive political and law enforcement corruption, corporate rule, and the rich 1%ers owning more wealth than almost 70% of the entire world up together. Yet capitalist yeehaws, and blind loyal party voters think everything is just fine, and can be fixed with taking out the opposing party.

Retail theft has gone on over the last 20+ years and keeps increasing. Out of liability most businesses can’t stop or accuse someone of theft, most let them walk. The employee hand book advised let them go, out of your own safety and to protect the business from legal backlash. You just write the stuff off insurance.

Death rates in most blue states are under 3,000 per million. In fact, 23 of the top 25 states were "red" states. They didn't vaccinated as much. They didn't social distance. how do we know if an item on ebay is stolen unless a law is made where highly visible tags are put on the item that requires a special key to remove and is removed when purchased and would have an alarm trigger built in. similar to them large clamshell stapler looking tags used by clothing stores in the 80s. visible so both the customer and the cashiers can see them so they could not be easily left on to get taken out of the store. alarm triggering so even if the cashier should overlook and forget to remove the tag it would set off the alarm and remind them that they forgot to remove one. dye pack inside so if someone tried to remove it without the key the dye would ruin the product. the tag also has to be made so it cant easily be removed without the key. the plastic detectors that are in every product can be defeated with a magnet and often it is a magnet that the store uses to deactivate them. it is to the point where stores are putting the stuff behind lock and key even the smaller less expensive stuff like basic body care stuff like toothpaste and soaps and shampoos. pharmacies because there are powerful drugs like oxy codone and such that is highly abused. box stores and home improvement because of tools and their accessories. grocery stores i guess basic body care stuff. retail theft is still a crime even if the items are a need item. yes it is a safety concern for the employees and customers to not chase down the shoplifters because in some cases guns have been involved. maybe the solution is to sell the high end stuff online only.

The following news is about retail theft being on the rise. The establishment’s answer to this, however, is to provide more law enforcement. Does that evaluation indicate that the United States (US) is a nation of, by, and for her people? The fact is that 38 million Americans today live in poverty, while 8 of the 10 richest men in the world are US citizens. The fact is that the People’s Republic of China has already eradicated her poverty, despite having 4 times the US’ population. The fact is that only 40% of US citizens are satisfied with our government, while over 90% of Chinese are satisfied with theirs. Therefore, who is the real leader of the free world? And, the fact is that the US has repeatedly refused to comply with 42 United Nations resolutions asking her to immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. Is the US’ problem really about retail theft being on the rise, or that the American Revolution of 1776 was actually about replacing the British oligarchy for the American oligarchy. Therefore, US liberty and justice for all has always been an illusion! After realizing that there is no such thing as the “American Dream”, are “We the People” willing to fight World War III to make US oligarchs even richer? US citizens united for real justice for all!

  • @Tential1

Lol. It's just riding the wave. We don't force stuff. We just take advantage of it. If you want to enact a policy that will destroy your real estate market then we're going to short it, it's not like we have to create your idiocy you do that all on your own. You passed so many stupid laws every year that you always are going to make some mistake that people in finance can take advantage of. I've read billions of pages of legalese. A congress person writing a law to regulate something has an at best high-school level of the finance involved, and if you layer in the financial complexity the industry normally does, half the time, the regulation you pass does the exact opposite of your intention. It's impossible to regulate what is essentially financial black magic. But we rarely purposely cause stuff. Just react. Like inflation reduction act. OK... Read the full thing, find the idiotic hand outs, invest in those businesses. You don't have the time, we do.... So we get the money. Pretty basic.
