Hangers are bangers. Opened 10 of them. Pulled 7 numberer cards and a Judge bat relic. Retail taking the prize imo for series 1 without a doubt.

I appreciate that Fanatics seems to want to grow he hobby with putting more hits in retail than Topps usually did.

I was at my LCS yesterday and someone pulled a HFA of JRod. Julio is my favorite player so I bought it off of him for $50 and he threw in a /299 commemorative ballpark manufactured patch of Julio as well.

HFA’s are way more common this year. The value has dipped a lot on those. I love JRod though!

I've pulled 2 JROD HFA's like you've done Trout. Got one from a hanger box like I told you yesterday. Today I went back to that same Target, and got another JROD HFA from a Mega/Monster (whatever they're called) box. They had 2 left and a guy in front me grabbed one, so got lucky, but yeah 2 JROD HFA's...same store...different formats.

For someone that lives in small town nowhere. We take what we can get. I just bought a 2024 Topps Christmas mega box. First time seeing it. I've only been to buy 4 hangar boxes of 2024 Topps and 10 fat packs. I wish they had more of a selection at the local Wal-Mart.

I always have the worst luck buying Topps packs from the store. Spent $300 bucks on fat packs and $200 on blasters, didn't get squat minus 3 or 4 numbered cards.

Earlier today I bought one blaster box and a hanger box and got really lucky. I got a Fernando tatis home field advantage card a Marco Luciano flowers numbered to fifty and a Henry Davis gold parallel. Really lucky and Loving retail!!!

Just like you. I went 0-nothing. I bought Bowman Platinum, and a Mystery Box too and got skunked on those too. Topps and Bowman are laughing at collectors!

I hit a Riley green relic and a Mike trout Mother’s Day parallel out of a fat pack 😂

Got 2 Hobby boxes in the 1st I pulled a Logan Webb clear /10 and a boarder matched of a S.F. rookie and an Acuna #'ed patch.

Been to every Target, Walmart, and Barnes and Noble in my area and not a single pack or box... and even a local Comic Book shop that usually carries cards said they only got one box and it was gone in a day.

So I just started opening packs again (raised in the junk wax era) and bought a blaster box of these. Pulled a Colton Cowser auto 17/25. I don't really know what I should do with it...keep it sleeved? Get it graded? Looks pretty centered and sharp corners. Any advice helps! Thanks!

I bought 6 Fat packs on a whim tonight got 1 Relic, 1 Retail Numbered and 1 Gold. I would say similar to a standard Hobby Box for 30 less, lol.

I bought 3 fat packs on Amazon. First pack had a Ell de la Cruz Greatest Hits out of /75. Out of 3 packs from Walmart I pulled a Tatis Home Field Advantage. Not bad, especially since I live in San Diego.

i opened 1 and got a gold 2024 sterilized then opened 2 of the 25$ boxes and got a orange and purple from the 2. autos from what ive seen are super hard to pull relics just as hard

Got $80 worth of them and pulled a sal frelick auto, posted a short of it too!

Fat packs were money for me. Bought 4 and got an Evan Carter blue foil /999. Very happy with the hit. The blasters were meh. No hangers in my area yet.

Topps should ALWAYS take care of those of us that spend $$$ on Hobby and Jumbo. We drive the majority of the revenue. The best cards and odds should never be in retail. I wish I was the CEO there.

I bought four from target nothing major till last pack got a post season progress relic alek thomas to 99 which are tough hits,a Jackson wolf 89 rc auto, and a retail blue to 999 Mariner's team card same pack lol

Grabbed 7 fat packs at Wal Mart today. No numbered cards but did pull my very first Golden Mirror of Quinn Priester. He's a Pirates rookie pitcher so I'm not familiar with him. Maybe he'll be the next Cole? lol

First fat pack I bought this year I got 2 numbered cards in the same pack (gold and purple), but IDK beginners luck I guess

Opened 5 fat packs and one Hanger. The one Hanger was better than 5 of the fat packs. Maybe luck of the draw, but the hanger had 2 numbered cards and out of the 5 fat packs I got 2 numbered cards total.

The irony, Trout HFA in front of an Orange County sign yet the Angels try to claim Los Angeles as their home. Picked up two hangers at Best Buy. Both had the rainbow and yellows but that's it. Nothing really that great.

A guy that works for the city always does that and he's in his bright green or orange jacket at Target. I don't buy anything he touches cause he examines every pack and slides the card and packages around and just sets everything back on the shelf.

Which probably means they printed a ton of base/common cards with the idea of people chasing the goodies. They've been doing that, but early on it seems like they're being really stingy with the good stuff.

Did anyone see that a Shohei Ohtani in the Dodgers uni is in this set??? Is it a short print because there is none listed on eBay but I saw a pick of it on my Dodger page.

Hey jabs, Ive watched for a while, I recently went through my boxes of baseball cards. I have quite a few Rookie cards of Topps Chrome Update. With Shohei Vladdy Acuna and so on. I’m looking to sell some of these but I don’t know how much they are generally worth. Mind you I would have been a 10 or 11 year old child who didn’t understand the importance of keeping the cards in good condition so not all of them are in the best condition, but there not too bad either. Just asking because I’ve watched you for a while and I know you know your stuff about Topps and MLB cards.

2021 was possibly the worse year in baseball imo. I remember Kyle Lewis being a big chase in 2020 and he vanished from the hobby. I'd like to hear some others. If anyone else knows some hobby duds comment them please.

Lol I started buying baseball cards that year. I remember kelenic was a huge hit. Hit his gold rc and a red ice foil /150 or /199. Sold them for huge. I remember it was trash but update hangers were really really good.

Wouldn’t it be wild if topps 2025 stars of the MLB become a SSP?

These are one of the worst card designs ever.

I went ahead and bought 10 hanger boxes from Feedback that I've heard and I HIT #'d cards in 2 of the 10. At the end of the day that's normal odds.
