For real tho. I bought a blaster the other day and after I opened all the packs and quickly went through em I handed the whole stack of cards to my 8 year old son and said have fun buddy. He said I can have your cards and I said yup, have at it. At least he was happy because I was gravely disappointed

That goes for anything panini these days. Back in early 2021 I got back into the hobby when prizm football dropped. I hit a case hit red prizm of Micah Parsons and sold it for $250. I kinda wish I never hit that card now because that got me back into the hobby big time, and it has been fun, but a loosing effort overall. I do have e a couple nice PC Cards tho!

I'll buy some here and there, but they've been pricing me out. It just doesn't feel like the value is there when some players will have a million autographs between various sets. What good is an auto if there's zero rarity to it? That's why I've just gone back to buying graded vintage because it just feels like there will always be value there since some cards are getting harder to find in good condition. Fun to rip open a pack or 2 here and there, but spending hundreds on a handful of blasters or a hobby box feels like throwing money away right now.

Better off buying singles you want, the market is so oversaturated it’s not even funny.

The Mantle origins is a case hit card worth around $25.

Great video! This video illustrated why you should just buy the singles you like and keep wax sealed as an investment to sell down the road. Imagine the nice $500 single you could have bought.

I feel ya ... I have 2 Walmart's near me and a target and either one stocks the shelves. go in at least 3 times a week and see the same stale stock sitting there only football and basketball very little baseball product.

Man must be nice to have product on the shelf in your area!! I have 3 Wal-Mart's in my area within 40 minutes of each other and they haven't been restocked since Topps series 2 came out!! Enjoy the rip!!!

I live in Tahoe and it's getting cold so I'm getting huge spiders in my place. The big nasty ones with the tentacles up front! Every night before I go to bed I turn my lights off for about ten minutes so the spiders will come out. Then I flip on the light and there are alway 2 or 3 on my walls or ceiling. The trick is to use the vacuum on them. You don't want to use a shoe, miss and then the thing is crawling around while you sleep. I've definitely done that then woken up later with it crawling on my arm.

Love the video Jabs….Worst part is that they give less cards, as you said $30 into $3 hoping for magic, then the prices are so crazy and if you don’t get a real big hit of a really good player it’s like, let me try n get some value and sell on eBay or auction. I don’t even buy really unless I’m guarantee an auto or multiple. So I go Hobby now, only grab a blaster to just try my luck! Or I just by the card I want plus I been doing grading of what I have with SGC. Go for grading of my better cards and autos!

Jabs is really good at this. He could easily be a color commentator for rhe Pirates on the Radio. His knowledge of the players and prospects, his DJ voice, and much more make him perfect for the job😂

Yikes. I got back into collecting cards a few months ago and mistakenly bought at walmart and got totally smoked. I haven't been in a Walmart in awhile. Now I only buy hobby/jumbo format, unless blasters have a better track rate (ie 2023 Bowman and 2023 Topps Chrome)

It's baseball. You could hit the best card in each product and still lose money unfortunately.

All card products...not just retail...are rigged against us. Sure, you can buy a $25 blaster and only get a few bucks of value...but how many $100 hobby products have been opened that only produce $15 of value? Same thing...

People don't get mad when you want to sell sportscards and there are no local stores left because you shop Walmart. Go ask Walmart what they will pay for your collection:)

If you sell, cards only have the value someone is willing to pay, if you are a traditonal collector you get priced out quick, and you typically only pc certain players, so a pack of cards has little value other than what you pc, if you like to rip just to open, then you are literally wasting money these days, because while the odds are good to find something, the return is usually a common numbered/auto, nothing game changing or something anyone would want

Hedge Apple's placed on outside window sills, next to doors, and in the basement window wells will keep spiders from coming inside. Kool videos. Showed me some cards I haven't seen yet. Select is hard buy for me, too. Almost $3 per card. I lose money on about every box, but Select insures the biggest loss.
