I watched a video of when it was discovered and pulled out for the first time in a while and was blown away to discover I'd been driving right past it for years. I knew where it was the moment they showed the sign in front of the building. Tucked away in the back lot of a body/custom shop, hidden in plain sight, but with the overgrowth and fencing it wasn't visible from the road. lol And it made perfect sense since Evel lived just a few miles from the place. I met him briefly on one occasion when I worked at Lokey Mercedes in Clearwater Florida because he had a burned out marker light in his Benz. Swapped it out right there in the in the drive and he was on his way. An absolute legend to me growing up. I'm glad to see this history live on.

I was surprised there was no footage of Mark from Shipping Wars hauling it from there. I thought for sure they would show that. I wonder how much of the original truck they were able to save because the cab was completely shot, they obviously used a donor truck. Maybe the frame is original.

But it did lots of miles in 1 year because Even if my friend was also french from Quebec, he teamed up with an american friend and they did interstate for 1 year ! I put 35,000 $ on that truck ! i fixed it before i could break down on the job. So the guy who i sold it to was the lucky one ! lol happy new year !😎@@scottsatterlee8491

Why would they have let it deteriorate to the state it was found in , let alone sell it ?
