This reminds me of when i used to salvage random stuff from lakes and rivers. One time i found a body, seemed all dead and decomposed. But after a quick little brush with water and some soap, the person came right back to life! True story!

Just like in other videos, there are weapons, watches or PCs lying somewhere on the side of the road. And interestingly, the objects are always extremely rusty and after thorough cleaning with soapy water the rust is gone. If the stuff were so rusty there would be corrosion, but there is no sign of it. They must have a really great cleaning agent that can convert rust on the components into original condition. Strange ???

I think the PC and rust were rigged. Yes, it really did have rust and debris, but no I dont think this was a genuine find. In this video I noted how nearly, if not, all the the metal was not deteriorated in any way. I'm especially surprised about the pins and traces that NONE, not a single pin withered away. I also kinda cringed how the 3.3V battery remained in the motherboard during the chemical cleaning... thats a good way to fry the RTC/bios if it shorts depending if the battery was fresh or not.. For the thing being in the sewer, that button cell battery is very shiny... Also there's no way two random caps would go missing without any sign of corrosion as you mentioned, especially between other perfectly fine looking capacitors... The pins arent even in the solder joint which indicates it was previously removed. It didnt 'rust off', if it did the old pins would still be in that solder joint. Then it boots up first try without any problems at all? To a windows operating system thats already activated and all drivers installed? I didnt see any ssd in the clean up, so I assume there wasnt one in the computer, meaning they had this ssd prepared ahead of time. I'm speculating this PC was really not in that sewer for long. Maybe a month at most but I think closer to two weeks or something. This isnt a regular "rusty ol' " pc Now I understand I may be wrong, and I'm willing to accept that, but I find all this too fishy for me to be totally convinced this was genuine. The restoration work was very nice, however.

@@saadoonalfalahi2223 That could be chemicals and contaminants in the water or an oxidized reaction with nearby metal that covered the plastic. This happens in toys as well where brown markings are left behind on the plastic.

Отличная идея! Я так каждый год себе комп обновляю. То на свалке надыбал, то в гнезде аиста в поселке у бабушки нашел сборку на базе райзена 7 и видяхой ртх2070. А мой дед так и вобще нашел полный чемодан денег, когда пошел в грибы.

you sir are a Legend! I never thought I'd see someone revive such a sad and broken machine or think it would even be possible to salvage. You give me faith that nothing is ever truly broken. Don't stop what you do it is AMAZING! also was the computer for you or someone you know? great representation as well for the colors on the GPU. hands down one of the best things I've seen on the internet. also a rusted old battery obviously wouldn't work so had to be replaced just like the fans. HDDs would also be no good and need to be replaced same with the power supply

The mobo and gpu definitely can wash with a soap or a detergent. I've been doing this a dozen time and it still works fine. But it's not working like a magic. If somebody threw it to a dirty sewer long time ago, I'm pretty sure there is no miracle to revive it.

Look pretty obvious what they did, they placed a computer in the canal left it there for a week to gather up pretty much mud, saw a comment which I can find now saying how is the plastic rusting, lol its mud not rust, check again to see if it had a cmos battery in when they found it

9;33 putting a CMOS battery into the system now suddenly, lo lets say someone throw a system away into muddy water lol, right why the hell would they remove the CMOS battery????? Reason being right the battery holds a charge they knew when they placed that pc into the water it can survive that kind of damage if cleaned out perfectly as long as there was no current flowing throw the board at all, no real harm can come to the components, same goes for when i do want a really clean motherboard and was it with water and soap i remove all charge from the board and the CMOS battery to prevent damage, obviously once its completely dry again the cmos is reset and you have to reset the time and date again, but there are other rocket scientist here as well

Love the part at 6:09 when he's about to destroy everything with the big brush but.. He used a toothbrush instead to not trigger us..

I wish more people would just recycle all their components, but it's much easier when you have a place to take them which not everywhere does.

В германии, я так два системника на улице видел. Чего-то намарадерить - отвертки не было. А тащить их с собой было лень. На следущий день дождь пошел. Дальнейшая судьба, их неведома.

No, its not two cards. He take working boards, make video how they work. Then he solder, then put PC in to water, then wash it. You can not check order on video. Simple magic.

@@Yaroslav_55 It is content indeed, nothing real happening here, otherwise why the missing caps in a fully assembled GPU? you would expected damaged caps or other parts, but missing? doesn't make any sense as they are way well protected between the cooler and the PCB and the only way to remove them is by de-soldering them. but you know what, was fun ( I mean, putting and old and plotted PC in a slump for like a week, for a restoration video)

Generalnie to naprawiałem kiedyś laptopa, który został zalany, po miesiącu leżenia w szafie trafił do mnie. Po tak krótkim czasie większość skorodowanych padów i połączeń wewnątrz pcb było nie do uratowania. Na filmie koleś wyciąga kompa z kanału myje go wodą z mydłem udaje,że mierzy i wymienia układy. To już loty w kosmos są bardziej prawdopodobne niż to że uruchomi maszyne takimi sposobami. Mam nadzieje że ludzie oglądają te głupoty dla zabawy xd

Бывает выйдешь на улицу и отдают компьютеры. Тут шёл недавно домой с гостей на дороге Qled телек стоит на обочине а в одном месте на траве лежал жёсткий диск на 750 терабайт, я тоже его взял, сгодится в хозяйстве. Тут недавно нашёл у остановки блок питания на 3 киловата рабочий и пломба на месте. А ещё в прошлом месяце я нашёл компьютер с монитором и у него было 25 ядер и 50 потоков.

Вывод басни таков, что мужик взял новый комп.

Бредятина несусветная. Отмыть типа в тазике с порошочком, и всё как новое. И как всегда волшебная тайская ржавчина. Тут мля, на вид как новую видюху в сервис отдаёшь, говорят не подлежит ремонту, ибо ремонт в цену видюхи. А у него всё из параши после ВОДЫ и стирального порошка, и паяльника всё работает. Даже не смешно.

okay like rusted parts are definitely gonna be difficult to bring back to life but installing (at least) three different ram kits? It is a literal miracle that pc booted. definitely working with some mixed timings and slow speeds...

I can already smell the memory controller hating the fact one of the ram sticks is dual rank.

Снимается в обратном порядке, хорошо видно по термопрокладкам. Когда он разбирал видеокарту там те же термопрокладки, той же формы, точно такое же кривое положение, как и в конце ролика когда он их клеит.

Видно на моменте, когда он прикручивает вентиляторы к радиатору видеокарты, что радиатор новый, а не тот что показывали. Контактная площадка которую он тёр наждаком имеет полностью заводское качество. Термотрубки и алюминий рядом сними просто в идеале. Если , это место зашкурить, такого результата ни как не добиться.

Снимается в обратном порядке, сначала делают финальный кусок, что всё работает.. Потом загаживают, потом якобы восстанавливают. Ну и куски бывает меняют. Снимает сборку некоторых кусков раньше чем загадить, а то мало-ли что пойдёт не так. ;)

Разве что там фиксиков на заводе напаяли. ))) При разборке перед купанием они ещё были, но в баке видимо растворились. ;) _p.s. А уж про новенькие термопрокладки я вообще помолчу. Все же перед тем как смыть старый комп в унитаз меняют термопрокладки на видюхе. А то мало-ли что._

보통 메인보드만해도 일반적인 물기에 노출이 되고 1-2일이면 바로 백화 현상이 생기는데 케이스가 저 상태가 될때까지 메인보드에 아무런 부식이 없다는게 이해가 안됨. 참고로 메인보드도 철 부분이 (usb 포트쪽 금속커버) 있어서 케이스와 같은 부식을 보여야하는데 메인보드는 깨끗한것도 이해가 안되네.. 마치 부식이 이제 막 시작된 케이스 가져다가 메인보드 달아놓고 흙탕물 좀 부어서 배려진것처럼 주작하는게 아닌가 하는 의심이 가네요..

메인보드와 케이스 그래픽카드 전부다 2개씩 준비해서 주작영상이네요. 케이스만 봐도 부식으로 오돌도돌한 부분이 있어야 하는데 깨-끗하죠.

Интересно, чем он моет платы, что все окислы самовосстанавливаются? Я хочу себе такой расствор! У меня тут мышь в компьютер залезла а на вмдеокарту пописала, так gpu сжох, биос сдох и ниодин мастер за ремонт не берется, а тут пару лет комп в каналюге, заменил пару конденсаторов и погнали. Магия не иначе!

зачем два - один, просто сначала записываешь, что он рабочий, а потом кидаешь в канаву, предварительно пошоркав везде наждачкой)

ну хоть бы батарейку вытянул. странно что чистил не металлической щеткой. о дистилированной воде и ультразвуковой ванне китаец однозначно не слышал. но вообще все сделал правильно. отмыл, покрасил и выбросил
