Definitely trying to revive the matrix and get it back to what it should be!

Hey Brandon you may need to swap the dimmer switch in the vent panel you replaced. You XRS has the sunroof so the dimmer switch doubles as the dome light switch. The one you put in in for a non sunroof car which has the dome light switch on the actual dome lights.

Good catch. I didn’t realize it until the next day! But I swapped the old one back and the dome light works!

Love the videos! I know you mentioned a year or two ago about the "Red Bullet" VVT-I Solenoids. I did a little extra research and found "Quantom Solenoids" they are more expensive. Just ordered them yesterday. I heard they give you more power and torque. You should look into them! I think they have them for your XRS Matrix.

Thank you for watching the videos! Yeah I heard the quantum solenoids give a little more power than the red bullet ones I ordered, but I didn’t think they were worth the extra money! But I hope you got them and they are working great!

I have an idoing head unit. It has wireless Apple CarPlay, and comes with the bezel as well! It’s great upgrade!
