At least the tips not broken off! I gave a buddy a 70’s pearl white Italy stiletto in 2001 i had for years from my father just because the tip was broken. This was before i knew you could restore them.

Seeing what you’ve done with custom knife work before, I’m confident you can fix this one up good! You’re much better at it than I am! Have you added any NATO Military or Super Automatic OTFs to your collection? In addition to the Rizzutos, those are also classic movie knives.

@@Ronin246hey man, I bought a broken Rizzuto knife today that is really good shape (aside from the button being broken). Do you have, or know of anyone who has a button assembly for sale? Thanks

That is 1 Way you can fit it the other is Peeing 1 side of the hole to Move Metal in so the hole can stay tighter BUT IT ALL Depends on How Bad the Hole has opened up, Take my words with a Graine of Salt.

How did you get the ends of the pins straight enough to pull the scales off? I have one of these with the ornate bale and the knife doesn’t lock closed at all or lock open so I’m trying to figure out what’s wrong inside.

Sorry For the Late Reply! Ive been very busy with Family Things, BUT IF the Blade dosnt Lock closed or Open that means 1 of 3 things 1st The Trigger is Locked to 1 side of the Hole on the handle & you will need to pull the scale off to adjust it back to right place & the tighten the Butterfly wings holding the trigger-button So it will not wiggle enough to not stay were it needs to be. OR 2nd The Trigger Button Is Snapped Broken & you will need to Make one Or Reweld The broken one, & 3rd If the Trigger-Button is Fine BUT you cant see anything other reason why its not locking closed or open Maybe the Catch is Snapped off & you Will need to Reweld A Catch on the Trigger-button. thats your 3 things to Check, As Far as How i got the Pins Straight i Used New ones If the old ones couldnt be hammerd Striaght again. I hope this Helps you Stay Safe!

Hi, what is the small spring made out of that sits below the trigger? Also is it welded to the liner? Mine is missing this piece. Thanks for the videos on this style!

@@Ronin246 hi any idea what I can make one out of? Thanks again for the replies. I ended up making a new kick spring out of 3/32 music wire and it fires good now but I still have to manipulate the button cause it’s missing that little spring.
