How do you get the pins out with out damaging anything. Especially the pin that goes through the lanyard?

A Small Hand File & a Thin Punch. & Go Slow! Hit the Punch carefully evenly so you do not slip & Damage Around the pin, & Sometimes the Factory Pins Are Bent inside SO you need to GO SLOW!

I’d personally leave the scratches. Gives it a rugged aged look. You should spray paint the scales black if you want a black one to go with your white.
