まるで城壁のよう、というか、作業はまさにジグゾーパズルです。良い仕事は細部まで気が配られていると言いますよね。まさにその通りの完璧なお仕事でした。土木って本当に面白い。いくら見ても飽きません。

いつも綺麗で丁寧なお仕事をされています。感激します。 優秀な社員さんに恵まれています。

一級土木施工管理士の資格を持っているものです。昔、土建屋で働いて布団篭の仕事をしました。設計では機械で割石をぶっこめば終わりになっているのですが、実際は人力で角に合わせて積む必要があります。それでも完成検査に来た意地悪な検査官が篭を引っ張って「なんだ、この痩せ布団篭は」と言われて嫌な思いをしました。工事的にも全然儲からない最悪な仕事でした。時代が変わって、歩掛も変更になって、今は儲かるようになったのかな？

フトン籠は、最近ちょくちょく土留めによく見かけますね。自分的には、河川の護床工に使うイメージですが。 施工は、単純に石をゴロゴロ入れるだけかと思ってましたが、丁寧に石積みの様にするんですね！びっくりしました。 網は番線かなにかで結束するもんだと思ってましたが、コイル状の物とは、面白いですね。 今回も勉強になりました！ありがとうございます。

長年培われてきた日本の職人芸に感嘆します。ご苦労様でした。

この工法が1番法面に向いていると思う。 景観も自然的になるし強度もある砂防ダム現場ではよくこの工法見られるよね。客土吹き付けを施行したら尚効果的です。

何箇所かこのような工事がなされているところを見たことがありますが、想像以上に手間のかかる工事なのですね。貴社は相変わらず仕事の出来が美しいですね。

人の手に勝る機会は無いと言うことですね。震災の復興でもこの様な見えない技術が役に立つんでしょうね。日本の土木に感謝。

このような作業工程で美しい石積みが拵えられていたのですね。日本の土木技術は世界一だと思っていましたが、芸術的にも世界に誇れる。手仕事で大変でしょうに、技術の伝承もなされているとお見受けしました。信頼あっての連係プレイもお見事です。ありがとうございます。

カゴマットは見た目もよくて河川の工事でもよくお世話になりました（その場合金属製は錆びるのでまた別の素材ですが）。 発注側だったので、こうやって手間をかけて綺麗に並べているところ見ると脱帽ですね。

Im amazed at the patients these guys have, meticulously placing stones and caging with fencing, lacing the panels together with the lacing springs... all without a word out of place... Id be all over the place especially with trying to lace the panels together.. not to mention the frustration language accompanying it...

蛇籠は江戸時代から日本で使われてきた河川護岸工法だそうで根を細かく張り巡らす柳と併用され竹で編まれていたそうで。竹かごが朽ちるまでには柳の根が十二分に細かく張り巡らされて強固な護岸となるそうで。ペシャワール会でアフガニスタンの旱魃対策のための用水路建設に威力を発揮しているね。

Japanese nonprofit taught this same dry stone stacking technique to villagers in Afghanistan. It was interesting to see / everyone working together to improve a canal ( as I recall). A similar technique utilizes chicken wire to reinforce / build earthquake resistance walls in Nepal

Using “chicken wire” (which is used to contain…chickens) to protect against earthquakes? Hmmm, there are several condos in Miami which used similar logic.

@@johnpacella9519 You seem to miss a rather big difference between the 2 situations. Miami is near the ocean and exposed to salt water & air; this combination would corrode metals, especially if there is no proper maintenance of the metal structures. Afghanistan & Nepal, on the other hand, are higher up and probably have very dry atmosphere. Also, if Japanese people -- with their long history facing this kind of problems -- have come up with such technique and found that it works for them, then you could say that it is a tried-and-tested technque, wouldn't you?

​​@@qtdcanadaI know such structures are used in Eastern European countries to strengthen the sea coasts. To protect against salt water, insulated nets are used (I don’t know what material the insulation is made of), but such structures have stood for more than 20 years without damage

石積大変ですよね、こちらの地域では、胴掛とツヅミといい、カゴ同士連結して強度をましますが、そちらでは、段積みだけなんですね。

これと似たのが溜池工事でやってたな毎日散歩コース、ちょっと違って斜めになって、緑のネット張ってた所が草で自然な感じになってた😊

巨石を積み上げるのは物が不足？　大金が必要なのか？ 数キロの石を束ねて巨石の効果を使い崖を固定する。 素晴らしい。石と石の間に植物の種を入れると植物が成長して破壊される可能があるためしない。石の周りに植物の種を置く事で石をさらに固定する効果を狙う。素晴らしい。

こういう積み方のほうが水捌けは良いし、地震が起きた時に石が完全に固定されてないから力が分散されて崩れにくい。 日本人は昔から分かってたんだなぁ～

石積みの技術は応用出来るけどこれを石積み云々と言ってはいけない、 けど…仕事は丁寧で良い印象ですね。

正に縁の下の力持ち。 この方々によって日本は支えられているんですね。 どこぞの大着民族、この方々の様な地道な仕事を少しは見習えよ。

斜面に敷いたシートはヘチマロンみたいなものでしょうか。かごの中に入れた砕石はC-100かな？バランスよく入れるのがなかなか大変なようで、培ってきた経験がものをいいますね！

This could be very expensive and laborious if you cover the whole hillside but it will be effective for long term.

Vetiver grass would also have been a very workable solution. Its roots are extensive (up to 3 metres) and, planted 30 cm apart, more than enough to stabilise hillsides such as these. Rather than the regular maintenance required of a rock wall, vetiver grass can instead provide a twice yearly harvest of grass for livestock or as mulch.

美談づくりだけかな、乱形石より、コンクリートの三角柱の方が簡単で、しかも安定ですよ

擁壁やU字溝、道路の影響で崩れてますね。スロープ状でなく直角に段を切って、縦に杭を打ち込み、落ち葉→炭→土→ガラ→落ち葉→炭→土→ガラという風に層状に敷き、土を呼吸させ微生物菌糸と木の根を誘引させるのではないでしょうか。これだと見た目が古の造作なだけで、重量で支えているだけ。中のシートは麻のような有機物であることは良いのですが、土との分断させ滑りの原因になるので不要。分解されないプラスチックの土嚢袋のプラスチックは大地に残り続ける。　　擁壁とU字溝から撤去し古の造作をする必要があると思います。

Or you could’ve removed all those invasive grasses and installed deep rooted hillside adapted plants from your local mountains. Nature has fully evolved to control erosion. Otherwise plants wouldn’t frow at such steep slopes

Those would be my thoughts as well, but not too long ago, I saw a documentary on NHK, that showed how researchers were able to induce a landslide, despite well established vegetation. One interesting part to me was that the breakaway plane was uniform, despite the length of roots. I am currently very interested in this subject.

@@mrtopcat2 well, you’re not wrong. Whether it’s invasives or native species, erosion is the natural cycle. That’s a plant’s entire role, is soil creation for its successors. However, what that looks like on a human time scale, you most certainly won’t see mudslides erode an established site with native vegetation in your lifetime. You most certainly won’t see it if it’s a well managed site. Generally, plants don’t evolve to die with natural disturbance. You mainly see that with nasty invasives like russian thistle where they’re just opportunist seeders and once their lifespan is done they launched off the ground and spread everywhere, destroying the habitat along the way. All this is to say, native plants is close to the best option besides inorganic soil compaction (rocks and cement). A combination of the two is an even better option in my opinion. Regardless, this is all backseating, we can’t really influence anything the Japanese government chooses to do
