Restoring A Flood Salvaged 2020 Stinger GT1 For My Brother (Part 6)

We did rotors, windshield wipers, cleaned the intake valves along with treating the fuel system which in turn cleans the injectors, all to increase the life of this blacked out batmobile! O yeah and I cant forget, those black wheels look killer!
Thanks for watching!

It's actually an issue with the brake pads. They "glaze over" which introduces less braking force and a shake. You'll find quite a few threads on the forums discussing the issue. I upgraded to some aftermarket pads and the issue went away.

Can vouch for this. As a GT2 driver myself, swapping the brake pads fixed my vibration issue. The stock rotors are fine, but the stock pads produce a ton of brake dust and over time the brake dust can stick and melt onto the rotors which causes the vibration. New brake pads and a bedding process should clean the rotors and fix everything up. I switched to the Stoptech Performance - Front & Rear Street Ceramic Brake Pads and no vibration issues anymore.

CJ - Its always a good practice to install new pads wi/h new rotors. It's very likely those old pads' surfaces are not true and you could risk damaging the new rotors.
