I totally lost this try not to laugh challenge. You can say whatever you want, those fake restoration videos are damn funny. In this video the best moments for me have been, the super clean and not even slightly rusted/corroded power supply, the super cleaners that can save that motherboard and obviously the great reball job of the RSX GPU. Can‘t wait for the next Video.

Ой как удобно, что ни одна дорожка на плате не сгорела и ничего не коротило. Парень на свалке железу нашел, починил и играться пошёл.. Посмотрите хоть один видеоролик специалистов по ремонту техники, к ним попадают устройства работающие в домашних условиях, и там иногда не подлежит реставрации, и/или теряет целесообразность такой ремонт. Но у наших мамкиных ремонтников никаких проблем 😉

Занимаюсь ремонтом пс3 сам,фаток дохлых повидал не один десяток,дичь какая то действительно.И кстати у нее не отвал rsx а именно cell,и он даже скальпирование проца не сделал - соответственно она бы от перегрева тупо вырубалась через пару минут после включения.У фаток всегда была проблема именно с процом,не с видеочипом.Наебаловом попахивает,но для видосика сойдет)

Ain't no PS3 gonna be left there and if by some miracle it was if definitely wouldn't have a hard drive and that rubber piece that covers the screw that hold the top over on would be missing.

What they failed to tell you, was this is one of Sony's refurbishment centers. :)

its possible, you just risk board damage without a hotplate. which begs the question why didn't he at least put the board in the oven or something to heat it up to temperature, all in all he probalby just repleaced the board anyway; if he didn't then god damn this is the best damn smd rework station in the world.

Mate half the ball bearings were still missing from the board before you put the chip back on you cannot reflow with a hairdryer there is a reason it is tough to do EVERY ball bearing has to be reflowed not just some of them, Nice swapping of the motherboard though for a working one really good job.

Comparing 17:35 and 17:45 (between the reballing) you can see they are different boards... just pause at 17:45 (before he turns the board) and press left and right on the keyboard to go back/forth 10 seconds. The board gets dirtier in the future 🤔🙄...

Y si el chasis metálico tiene tanto óxido es para que estuviste dañada la placa . Lo que hacen es que agarran ciertas cosas como los tornillos y las partes metálicas y las ponen a oxidar . Mira que la fuente de poder está perfecta

Jajaja cualquiera que sea técnico sabe que una placa no se limpia así ni de suerte y que raro que los capacitores electrolíticos y las resistencias no se estropearon con tanta humedad y óxido porque son súper sensibles a eso jajajajaa

А причём хз здесь каустическая сода. Это отмывка. И судя по платам дорожки засраны, но не повреждены. По итогу сдох GPU. Больше срач смывать. Меня другое удивило, термопаста свежая показана, как будто под термонагрузкой не была

Yep, the amount of rust shows me extreme water damage, and pretty much unfixable, unless you feel like replacing every dead chip in there. Even then, if he fixed yellow light of death, he would have shown us the process of reballing properly. I wish there were less people who did this fake and get some more people like Odd Tinkering.

Чувак купил полу живую ПС3, покрасил пластик и наклейки. А потом записал 2 половину видео- кинул на месяц платы в воду и якобы восстановил всё. Те кто не знаком с платами-ЭТО ТАК НЕ РАБОТАЕТ! Стёр ржавчину и железка как новая)

Damn it comes with Simpson approved speed holes. And as we all know rusted out machines only need a wipe and a spritz of isopropyl alcohol and 100% a ok. I like how after the many years of rusting and the thermal paste is still wet Sony needs to sell that to the public and never again deal with replacing dried out thermal paste. Come on Sony don’t hold out on us 😂
