That one primer black door at the beginning was truly authentic!!!!
I've never weathered a model before but the job done on this one was done masterfully. It really is a shame to have reversed such a great job.
Man I would love to see the video of that original look being done. Whoever did that had some serious skills!
Way to go! You took one of the most masterfully detailed model cars I've ever seen and turned it into something truly mundane.

That's exactly what I was thinking while I was watching this. I thought I was going to see the restoration of a neglected, damaged and discarded model car 'survivor;' not the desecration of a well-thought out, highly-detailed weathering job (especially that body rust!) The skills of this model builder are NOT in question - they are excellent, no doubt. But the next time they get their hands on a model like that, it would be better if they used their skills to build a "barn find" diorama, instead . . . .

Yeah it must have taken many hours to create the 'abandoned car' look, which was very appealing. Then it was all undone, and became just another boring model. The first iteration was unique and interesting, it caught the eye. I get that its not my channel or content, so each to their own. Its still good workmanship, just seems an odd thing to do. I would definitely enjoy watching a video showing how the 'abandoned car' went from regular model kit, to unique art piece.

По большому счёту, автору надо было только склеить куски сломанных кузова и днища, почистить стёкла и кресла, покрыть антикорром кузов и сделать балансировку/развал/схождение колёс. Всё! Остальное ни к чему. Такую красоту запорол.
I love before and after restoration, before restoration is actually good for making diorama
GM would be proud of the restoration job you performed on that model of a Pontiac GTO. Well done.
It looks great restored. But somehow, I like the way it looks before restoration. Just that abandoned and forgotten look is ao cool.
The before restoration version would look cool in a junkyard diorama. It looks like a car that was in an accident, and then left at an auto graveyard to rust away for many years.

Bloody amazing!! Once again I've made the mistake of watching this at work while doing the paperwork...these videos are always mesmerising...you have great talent brother👍
The restoration was pretty nice. But the original model was infinitely more realistic and could have easily appeared in a movie scene in a forced perspective shot of a junk yard, or post-apocalyptic hellscape.
The best part of building any model car is when it's ready to put the body on the frame. Then the car comes together and gives the person a feeling of accomplishment. In my opinion.
