I have two toolbars that I use in my work. The material from which they are made is stainless steel. Stainless steel darkens, tarnishes and scratches. I polish my rulers with an electric tool. A drill and an engraver are used. After polishing, the rulers look much better, the numbers are clearer and even more pleasant to hold in your hands.
