so awesome! I had one of these same lamps when I was in Boy Scouts, I threw it out when I broke the globe and couldn't get a new so I was forced to get a Coleman. This really brought back memories. There's also a neat little trick with these, since they're more pf a multi-fuel type, if you add a little copper sulfate dust in the fuel the light will burn greenish and it won't attract bugs... can't do that with new ones :)

Hello! Sandblasting with aluminum oxide, simple cleaning with gasoline, solvent and acetone! I also used a pu primer to give the paint a little finish and pu paint. This lantern works with kerosene and alcohol preheating! Hope this helps! Thanks for the comment! 😁🤝

That lantern is remarkable but some how its swaped by the flourecent and LED light later but the used of that kerosene lantern now is in agriculture to attract the insects at night and roasted the fly and all insect pest in the mangoes rice sorgium field and sunflower farm

Bei so dünnen Blechteilen muss man sehr vorsichtig und mit viel Abstand strahlen, sonst verzieht sich alles. 😢 Ich verwende bei undichten Tanks eine Lackversiegelung für Motorräder Tanks. Das klappt wunderbar und kriecht in alle Ritzen. Die Restaurierung ist sehr gut gemacht worden. Weiter so! 👍

Можно сетку мелкую крутить в цилиндр. Через неё нормально светит и не разобьётся.
