Yes, i call it de-restoration. Mostly the artificially aged models do look better.

I'm much more interested in the weathering process. He could work at the Miniatur Wunderland in Hamburg Germany as a full-time job
This restoration was extremely pleasant... but the patina was beautiful too.... 😊😊😊👏👏👈👈

Belo trabalho. Novo ficou muito bonito. Mas esse mercedes com marcas de uso combina mais com ele. Pelo ano, tem que ter marcas de uso. Da mais valor pra ele. Mas foi um belo trabalho de restauração.

Will you ever show us the weathering process before "restoration"? This work is much better than the restoring process. You can make plastic look weathered and even rusted, even though these 1:18 models are almost never used, let alone lying around outside for years.

I am from Argentina and this truck is known as 1114 or 1518, it gained so much fame that it was impossible not to see one of these on the streets or highways, along with LO1114 (the bus) they were the best-selling truck in the country
They still use that kind of truck in iran
