RESTORATION FAILURE! Trying to restore a Land Rover Series 1.

My 1958 Series 1 88" Land Rover is one of my oldest projects. A bit different from my usual tractor content, I want to document this project for future preservation as well.
Have you been frustrated by a project like this one frustrates me? Did I mess up by messing with this to begin with?
