They put them in chemicals and "rust" them in a short time. If it were real a) it wouldn't have been brass and 2) rust would have eaten into the metal- creating little dots that carve the metal out when removesld. It's fake as hell.

It's bronze and stainless steel, it doesn't pocket, it adds layers of tarnish over the top of it "Instead of gradually giving up molecules to water molecules, it tarnishes to protect its surface from further corrosion. It doesn’t disintegrate but actually adds layer of material on its surface. The interior of bronze remains intact."

I had this idea I wanted to unpick the seams on some of my older clothes and redo them with a backstitch by hand for practice and maybe to give some of them a bit more life; but picking the seams seemed too tedious... Until this brilliant method came up. Thank you!

Hey, i just learned (from a yt short) that i have been using a seam ripper wrong forever - do you know that the red ball on the seam ripper is supposed to go under the seam, and you push the ripper along, cutting the threads? It looks like your comment might belong on a different short (yt does that sometimes), so maybe this is the method you're referring to.

It's bronze and stainless steel, it doesn't pocket, it adds layers of tarnish over the top of it "Instead of gradually giving up molecules to water molecules, it tarnishes to protect its surface from further corrosion. It doesn’t disintegrate but actually adds layer of material on its surface. The interior of bronze remains intact."

I had this idea I wanted to unpick the seams on some of my older clothes and redo them with a backstitch by hand for practice and maybe to give some of them a bit more life; but picking the seams seemed too tedious... Until this brilliant method came up. Thank you!

Hey, i just learned (from a yt short) that i have been using a seam ripper wrong forever - do you know that the red ball on the seam ripper is supposed to go under the seam, and you push the ripper along, cutting the threads? It looks like your comment might belong on a different short (yt does that sometimes), so maybe this is the method you're referring to.

So dissapointed, i really liked these videos, but when someone pointed out brass doesnt rust, it woukd seem that this faker uses sugar or something to make it look like crap but its allready in perfectly fine shape... cant trust anyone these days.

Doesn't help, that they stuck that cross bauble onto it, when in the before picture it's clearly brand new and there is no marking from where one was stuck before.
