Restoration - Amazing meat grinder from 1898
In today's video I will renovate an old meat grinder from around 1898. Some time ago I renovated a similar one with the misconception that it is a tobacco grinder. Veronica accidentally discovered a period sheet that convinced us exactly what this grinder was used for. I had originally intended Veronica to use it in her kitchen, but the annoying finding that the grinder blades were stored in lead made me think it would not be safe to use the grinder. It will remain on display as a collection piece in our extensive collection of coffee grinders, irons and kitchen scales :)
Thank you for 13:57 minutes of your time :)
Radek

Another great restoration, I appreciate that you included the date of the item, it makes it a little more interesting when you know the date of something that is being restored. Additionally, I like that you include your wife in your restorations, it gives the restored item a nice personal touch. I enjoyed Veronica's demonstration and narration, I did not understand a single word that she said but the demonstration was more than adequate and enjoyable. Keep-Up the good work.

Basically she went through the various sizes with 7, 12 and 14 'feet' (but one is missing on the size '4') , and then explained that they were introduced in about 1900, and were made in Sweden Germany and America and also Russia in 1926 by Husqvarna which sold about 12 million of them worldwide. And then she tested it :)

Great restoration on this very old meat grinder. Its really beautiful. My mom still has one that clamps onto a counter or table. We have plenty of ground bologna , relish and mayonnaise sandwiches. Yummy😋
You did a great renewal job on this kitchen tool Radek my friend, I enjoyed watching. It's a real shame there is lead in the metal which makes it unsafe to use for food. Veronica looks more confident to be in your videos now - you'll have to watch her closely, she may try to get into Hollywood films next! Best wishes to you both, Nick

@Aleksander_Grigorjev
