Restaurant style fried whole fish with chillie tau cheong sauce/ chillie bean paste sauce.
Ingredients
1 whole black pomfret
A bit of salt to marinate
Sauce ingredients
Sliced onion
Finely chopped garlic
1 red chillie
1 green chillie
Taucheong sauce
Oyster sauce
Sugar, mushroom granules to taste
Cornstarch slurry if needed
Fry fish until brown n fragrant. Sauté onion n garlic until aromatic. Add all seasonings ingredients n corn starch slurry. Pour sauce over fried fish. Served hot with rice.
