Responsive Design: Short Course - Articulate Storyline 360

Childhood obesity is a rising epidemic posing a significant threat to the health and well-being of children in Ireland. 1-4 children are now classified as overweight in Ireland according to Safefood.eu (2017). There is an increasing need to educate people on the importance of this topic. The e-learning solution was developed to help address this increasing issue.

I'd like you to explain how you did the timeline so well. It looks really natural and organic (as opposed to my attempts to make animations which look weird.) Also interested in the graphic design choices you made. Maybe you could explain how you came up with it. This video was helpful, thank you! Would love to see your followup video!

Useful upload to demonstrate the sort of thing that can be done with Storyline. As training, however, it could benefit from having instructional designer oversight. A competent instructional designer would point out problems such as weak questions (little or no pedagogic value) and over-hasty playback speed / narration. Sure, the course-taker can slow the speed (or increase if desired) but the default should always assume that learning is the motive. In addition, the narrator for instructional purposes should always take pains to articulate properly and not be careless with enunciation. Instructional design input would have caught those and other shortcomings. Taking shortcuts with instructional design is a very common phenomenon among elearning producers. And it always shows,

Hi Eric really appreciate the feedback. Yes, I costume made the menu, not a huge fan of Articulates prebuilt version. I used After effects to develop the animation for this project, DUIK is a plugin I used for After Effects.

Not sure how this is responsive design since you only showed how it plays in one screen with a 16:9 aspect ratio. What does the course look like when played in mobile devices would illustrate this course's responsiveness better. Maybe what you mean is that this is a course with "interactive" design. Just guessing given the features you showed.
