Hey Stephen. I hear that Larkin Poe are good live. Kingfish would be great to see. He was here last summer but I had to work that night. Buddy is great too, he's touring right now. Cheers!

Great tag. I don’t have that Jeff Healy album. And that Bonnie Raitt looks great too. Saw her back in the 70’s with this gravelly voiced singer opening up for her. First time I ever heard of Tom Waits. Saw her two years later when Muddy Waters opened. Thanks for playing along.

Hi Jonathan. Jeff Healey similar style to SRV (bluesy rock) Love Bonnie Raitt, never had the pleasure of seeing her live. Wish I had seen Muddy before his passing too. Have a great week. Cheers!

Happy New Year. Great start to the New Year. I was happy to see that Bonny Raitt album. 20 questions is a lot of work.

Great Response. Elmore James was one of the early blues artists I lashed onto. Wonderful Johnny Winter pick and one I thought about. I have a few Blind Blake songs on compilations but not any albums by him. I need to look for that one. I like your Junior Wells pick. Dinah Washington did have an amazing voice and Buddy Guy is one of my favorites as well. Muddy Waters is a fantastic first buy. You can't please people. Some people complain when artists don't talk to the audience as well. I've only seen Buddy Guy once but it was a wonderful experience. Cheers.

Hey Randy. Thanks a lot. I just watched your response and left a comment. I agree 100% with your comment about players talking or lack there of when performing live. I like the interaction. Buddy Guy is especially good at it. Thanks and have a great weekend. Cheers!

Well .... One very rarely comes across a recording of Manitoba Hal even here in Saskatoon. Played here a few years ago @ Saskatoon Blues Festival but don't hear much about what he's up to these days. Besides playing guitar and mandolin he also plays a mean ukelele. I met the main man from Heritage last August in Edm. @ Blues festival. Even bought a cd. from him. He rented tables for his vinyl and posters. Cheers!

Hi Derwyn. I had never heard of him until I saw his CD's. He's a great player. Always good to feature a Canadian artist. Thanks and take care. Cheers!

Do you have a turntable that can play 78s Nephew. That is cool you got some old blues in that format. Nice tag, made just for you Chris

Hi Unk. I do indeed. I have 2 turn tables, one for 33's and 45's, the other for my old 78's.
