When I just became a Catholic like 18 years ago, I was always very worried that I prayed for something in some silly or "un-atas" expression [i.e. like a country pumpkin in the spiritual sense] and offended God 😅 It took me a few good years to realise that Jesus actually wants us to go to Him as how we are and at where we are i.e. be ourselves and then in our daily conversation with Him, we will be changed by Him. We will be better in our prayers very naturally if we allow ourselves to feel comfortable with God. God is not petty.
