As a protestant Christian, I am so grateful to Your Grace as leader of the Roman Catholic Church in Singapore and beyond. I am praying for you, Cardinal Goh.

I always have a lot of respect for Cardinal William and after hearing what he shared during this interview with Sumiko (who asked all the right Qs to get to know him on a more personal level 😊), I'm even heartened to know that he focuses on transforming lives and embracing ppl regardless of who are. Truly a blessing to have him as our Archbishop and Cardinal. Happy Easter 🙏

There are many priests or men who professed they are holy. But there is this priest who is truly our holy man. Truly humble and truly a servant of God who loves and embraces.

Remember, William Cardinal Goh said "must have a chaste life". That is Christ's loving acceptance of

God bless Cardinal Willian Goh. I am outside of Singapore, a Malaysian Roman Catholic studying far from home, and I find it very difficult to join masses on Sundays and Holy days. Our institute does not allow us to go out as we please, because we our outing time is set by our institute. I do not have transport to go to the nearest Catholic Church too. I cannot afford to book a ride there. Despite all the difficulties, I still made the effort to just pray online. It was Good Friday where I felt the need to go to church, to witness the holy sacrement. And that is where I discovered The archdiocese of Singapore. I am very grateful to God, and grateful to the Singapore Catholic Church, if it was not for them, I wouldn't have been able to attend the masses. Thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to turn to God again.

I'm glad Cardinal Goh has not bowed down to LGBT and gender ideology. The teaching on these issues is very clear across all Christian denominations. Don't be like the Church of England.

Quite surprised by his “difficulties” with repealing 377A. Yes you can disagree with the LGBTQ way of life, but surely there should be no controversy in not criminalising the LGBTQ? Just empathising from one human to another.

The Catechism of the Catholic Church calls on Catholics to treat “homosexual persons” with “respect, compassion and sensitivity.” Not that long ago in our church the priest the spoke of homosexual people as spiritual lepers, and like the lepers at the time of Moses were made to live outside the camp. He was saying that he did not want to see them in his church. Leonardo di Vinci narrowly missed execution for sodomy when he was brought before the courts, twice, accused of the same. There are those who say that the church never executed anyone for homosexual acts. That is because they were handed over the civil authorities who were greatly influenced in their law making by the church, who did the executions for them while the clergy stood by and watched them do it. I have known three people in my long life who have committed suicide because of their homosexuality (one was a doctor), and my own step uncle who fled in the night and was never hear of again because the local newspaper printed a story about him touching another man in an intimate way in a public place. One man in the 1960’s in a village near before homosexuality was decriminalized in the UK was sentenced to a year in solitary confinement in Wakefield jail after being caught in bed with another man. In span of my lifetime I have seen the attitude of societies in the west go from extreme intolerance to the point of jailing and killing, to Gay Pride celebrations with thousands on the streets in support. I can only think of the Carthusian motto “Stat crux dum volvitur orbis. The world may change, but the Cross and the eternal truth it stands for remains unchanged. To end; I think Cardinal Goh would make a great Pope. ‘Time we has a Pope from the Orient. 'Must have a prayer with the Holy Spirit about this before the next papal conclave.”

His Excellency still stand firm on his thoughts on LGBT ideology, however, to LGBT people, He continues to guide them.

Maybe start with the fact that asking the question "What is a woman?" in any major city in the US is considered transphobia, whatever the hell that means.

Sorrybif I make sweeping or snarky or sarcastic remarks....Catholics nowadays, especially in this country, in this country, in this country, are easily deluded/deceived by fake appearances !!! Ask the Most High for the wisdom to unmask deceit/delusions.....some saints are helpful in this respect....I highly recommend St John Bosco !!!
