Enche meu coração de alegria ver outras pessoas aprendendo essa língua tão linda e tão rica que é o português, principalmente o brasileiro. Amo minha terra, amo meu povo, amo minha língua materna, amo os sons do meu Brasil

✔ As a Brazilian Portuguese native and language teacher I must say Portuguese is kind of a difficult language to learn. So, for those who want to learn Portuguese (Brazilian or Portuguese) fast your seat belts 😃

I've spent so much time looking for decent books to study Brazillian Portuguese, but none of the books I've found reflected what I wanted to learn. But the books that you showed seem to have exactly what I've been looking for. Thank you so much for this video! It made my life a bit easier :)

My second language is Spanish and it has helped with me learning Brazilian Portuguese. Pronunciation is really different but it reminds me of this language I made up when I was a kid. I'm also a reader so I hope that this method will work for me.

Thank you for this!! I've been trying to find resources to learn Portuguese -- and don't get me wrong other videos did make good recommendations but -- this is the best video I've seen! I know there are a lot of apps/websites out there, but none of them focus strictly on Portuguese. Especially when it comes to things like grammar and readings. I'm so glad I found your vid!

I would like to add brazilian tv shows or novelas to your list. There is a lot out there. Avenida Brasil for examle, but many more. I feel it's more practical or sustainable train by listening to tv shows or movies. I've yet to read a book in brazilian portuese though, I think it would do me good too.

I am very new to learning Portuguese , how does reading words that I have no idea what they mean help ? I do this with Brazilian song lyrics ( Sertanejo ) does that have the same effect ?

How much progress can you make from just grammar books and reading? I feel like comprehensible input, listening to the português is very important. Pimsleur is better for complete beginners since you are getting that portguese audio. You can read on the side.

I think you can make a lot of progress, cos to make the written words more close to the spoken words, portuguese has had many international agreements, the last one dating from the 90's, so basically if you can read you can speak, the rest is just putting some words in context.
