The "weird technique" was a complete game-changer for me, thank you so much! This crazy feeling of resonance all over your head, the stability my voice has gotten, the tone improvement. Prior to this, I had my mixed voice, but it was wavery, a little strained, unreliable and unstable. Over the last week that I've been going back to this video to check for correct resonance, I had crazy improvements, and I feel like I'm about to tame my mix very soon. I'm surprised nobody talks about this on the internet. Thanks a million!

Amazing tips! I followed them and I can already feel how much easier it is to sing loudly with the right resonance. Thank you so much for taking the time to explain this.

I can't believe I missed this video when you posted it. I love how you described using resonance to stabilize your voice instead of muscles in your neck. That makes perfect sense to me.

Hello Tyler Darling, thank you so very much for the tips. Taken to heart ❤️. I am not able to purchase your Impeccable Music Package, at this time. However, the way you share your Musical knowledge, and the information about singing, is most important and so appreciated. Thank you again Tyler. One day I will be able to connect with payments. 😊 In the meantime I am a fan of yours.😊❤

So it's me again. Yesterday I wrote a comment about my mixed voice shaking and breaking around my break zone. I watched a couple of your videos and what somewhat magically helped me the most to instantly feel an immence difference was using the straw from the video "Mix Voice Keeps Cracking? This Will Help". It helpes me adjust the airflow, the breathing support, the amount of compression, changes the way I shift my gears while going down the passagio, but most importantly changes the positioning of the resonance. When I open my mouth after that I feel the resonance is so different from what I'm used it it's hard to describe. It's more in my face and in a tight spot somewhere where my soft and hard palates meet (depends on how high the note is), it's brighter and louder inside my head with a sence of buzzing, the sound flows, there is no strain, it feels like some new mixed voice I never used before. Surely being not quite used to it I constantly lose this nice feeling when I sing actual melodies with lyrics and have use the straw again to get back to it but at this point I know it's just a matter of practice. This video seems like a good addition to the topic of resonance. Thank you so much ❤

Same for me, I got the Straw from the courses, I still do the straw daily now. Took me about 6 weeks of straw to start seeing a change. Suddenly there was this connection that started happening on and off. When you know what that connection feels like, you concentrate on it, and its your mix coming in, the Blend. The straw smoothed my break as well, and allowed me to go from Chest to Head and Back easily and took the singing away from my throat which was key.

Thank you so much for this video. This completely changed it for me. I figured how to do it. I have two questions related to that which I think other people also have: 1- Should I always sing using this place? (or at least in the same song, should I keep singing through that place?) 2- The sound got very metallic for me, should I try to blend with a little bit of chest or something? Does anyone know? Again, thank you very much!

How can I contact with you? I mean do you teach with online or only offine? I would like to learn something that I always fail with resonance. Maybe my voice was limited range.., I don't even know. I'm in depression. Always I fail with high notes. I cannot keep high note for a long time like academic (opera) singers. I need your help. My currently voice range is from C1 to G#2. I mean from Do (the first octave) to sol# (the second octave) I'm a Liric Tenor but frustrated tenor😔

@@G..G.. Update: I have been doing straw phonation exercises pinching my nose to make sure no air goes through my nose, however as Tyler have mentioned before he advocates to allow some air to fo through nose and let me tell you, nose is key to mix voice and to sing with stability. Ofc everything with measure and not excess, unless u are going for a nasal tone wich so many successful singers choose to, personally I like just a little nose to add little brightness. Cheers mate!
