+Royden D'Souza Hey Royden! Resisted Isometric Testing is usually used as a tool to assess pain in/around a joint and possibly identify the muscle(s) causing the pain. I know that, for example in post-op neurological assessments, resisted isometrics are done and the muscle is graded from 0-5. But I would rather to the MRC scale when grading a muscle's strength as it assess the muscle's activity over full range of motion. we have made a video on that which you can find on our channel.
