I love how this whole song is a 1984 reference and no one notices.
REMEMBER LOVE WIL SET YOU FREE, THE REBELS NEED YOU.
I listen to this when I feel hopeless. Last January I feel trapped and the only thing that can save me is love for someone or to be loved. It's different now but it's somehow there. Love is our resistance. Different form of love and kindness and respect may bring peace to this world. Only if it is possible the world could be better. It's June now and coronavirus is still there and chaos and violence are everywhere. Don't sealed your lips speak up but do it for the better not for selfishness.
I see how some people could not like MUSE, but then again I also see how they are wrong.
cant believe this song is one year older than me... and that its a lot better than me at existing
The vocal at the start and the end give me goosebumps everytime
The beginning reminds me "Dumbledore's Farewell"
Those backup voices makes me imagine "1984: The Musical"
Talk about last minute casting
the beginning reminds me Dumbledore's Farewell by Nicholas Hooper
Lyrics:
Dom is really a great drummer. I love his work here. Matt's piano riff, Chris' coolest bassline for the pre-chorus "It could be wrong".... Well, I love this song endlessly.
I don't know how to explain it, but this song always makes me feel all sort of things. It's like I'm feeling so powerful that I could do all I ever wanted to do. And the nostalgia of the time when this song came out hits me everytime. And I really have this impression that I'm in an other world when I listen to them
WREEEEEEEESIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIISSSSSSSSSSSSSTAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANCEEEEEE!!!!!!!
Posiblemente no entiendan mi comentario, pero solo quiero decir que gracias a ésta canción los conocí. Los sigo desde el 2010 y son geniales
Chris’ backing vocal melody at
The "could be wrong" sounds like Big Brother trying to break him, worm its way into Winston's mind. The "but it shouldve been right" part sounds like Winston constantly affirming "No. I LOVE this woman, and will never stop". Gives a hopeful feel to an otherwise bleak ending for the book and movie.
i love 1984 and Muse- perfect song
One of my favorite songs of all time. Beautiful
Long live the resistance!!!
