I would like to know if the slim bangle can be used in the same way as an open bezel (using the tape method to temporarily close up the back and pour another color of resin in the middle) ?

Hello Saralyn! Yes it sure can, you'll just need to make sure the side that'll be stuck down is completely flat so the resin doesn't leak out. Sometimes you'll get an even top edge naturally from an even pour on an even table, but if not, you can wet sand the top edge flat, or dome this up and then stick and fill. Depending on the look you're going for this may end up looking better because you'll be able to stick either side down to fill, and you'll have a nice rounded finish once you're done.
