Thanks for posting this. While I do love a good kick in the face when the bass hits(who don't lol?) I do want good sql as well now days. I'm starting to design my systems to be loud and sound amazing doing it the older I get. I want to make your ears bleed and have crystal clear vocals until the bass hits, but when it does, I want it to be so clean folks be like dayuuum! The best of both worlds. I may hit you up on am enclosure this spring/summer for a single 12 for my 04 Impala SS. This was very in depth 🤙

The R.S. gold 8" dual 2ohm is only 1watt/1min less sensitive than kicker Q Class 8" 2ohm (81.3 vs. 82.4). The r.s. 2 ohm holds its own in efficiency.

Believe or not the RS 8 i have to 2 of them waiting on 2 more im going to run 4 of them in my little G5 GT but the 2 i have i have them on a SMART 3k by TARAMPS and they take that all day but it only clamped at 23 hundred and some change and they sound great never bottomed out i had my GAINS SET by a good friend of mine but i seen a review on the CT SOUNDS AND SAME THING IT HANDLED A CT SOUNDS 1400 like cake but i know ur a BEAST wen it comes to car AUDIO but i can truly say my 2 takes my LITTLE SMART 3k all day no issues so far lolol 🤞🏽 u got me thinking about it now I have a question how much would u charge for a box nothing fancy for 4 or 6-12s it would be for a Kia Sorento 2014 if ur not interested i understand still THANK U i see some of the AMAZINGLY AWESOME BOXES u build u r a MASTER builder THANKS AGAIN (🇵🇷✌🏽💪🏽🔈✌🏽💪🏽🔉✌🏽💪🏽🔊🇵🇷)

I would say the price of the cr sounds is much better for what you get 70$ difference is a lot when you are running 4 ct sounds is like buy 3 get 1 free compared to resilient sounds. But I am sure if price isn't a big deal then I would go with Resilient sounds .

I'll take a subwoofer with softer soft parts any day over a subwoofer with stiff soft parts. I like how my music sounds, so I go for the most accurate possible for the money I spend.

Would that meso sub sound better at 2 or 4 ohm vs 1 ohm? I'm thinking of getting a single 8in meso with a 1000watt amp but run it at 2 ohm 650watt. Would that work out well for me? I'm debating that meso or the alpine type r 8 with the 400watt harmony amp on 2ohm 300watt. Which combo would u recommend and what type of box? I'll be running one single 8 in a 2013 honda odyssey. @@M.B.Enclosures what is the best single 15 inch sub you heard so far that gets loud on music in a truck. Mine was a 2008 Memphis mojo 15 but they don't make that anymore on a ma audio hk4400 that could be heard from blocks away

@@ronaldbouye5801 no problem I've had all those subs already honestly the 9500s are your best bet I wish I didn't sell mine but I'm rocking a cerwin Vega stroker but cost me 900 right now no complaints the cheaper options would be some alpine s type

I did a setup with 2 of those on a crossfire 2k, they arent as loud as the ct meso 8s nor can they handle the power. They have a very soft suspension so theyll give you a smooth response vs the ct meso where youll feel more bass

The only thing that's the same on those subs is the basket

So the spokes being slightly larger cause the windows in between to be smaller..? Seems like a expensive machining/tool change. But makes sense considering the extra weight sprung from the basket with a larger motor and massive plates.

@@M.B.Enclosures lol right ? specs are all so close, only big differences im seeing is gold says sealed box is ok, x8 says ported only.... and the x8 is the standard all black, while the gold is something a lil different. think im going gold 8. thanks for putting these vids out there, rs g8 never even popped up in amazon searches till i clicked your link.

@@M.B.EnclosuresMb I got two RS Platinum 12’s and I’ve broke my trunk twice and now recently lost my whole tag plate off my 74 Pontiac Grandville. In the video you said the RS were a more power hit. Those Platinum series are violent. I have guys asking if I have 4 12’s or 2 15’s.
