This is honestly just as good, and probably better than any trade school. I don’t know anywhere else where you have a real world scenario, taught how to use the right technical language, how to diagnose an hvac issue, and above all else, it’s free to anyone who wants to learn. It’s clear on the camera, it’s concise, and it’s entertaining.

Contactor coil resistance of 11 ohms is perfectly fine. No justification for replacing that part and can only imagine what the customer was charged for it.

15-20 is normal, 10-11 is where i would also change it out.

@@user-cz8do7xl8u You say 15-20 ohms is normal. From HVAC-Talk: “Every 24v contactor coil I ohmed out ranges between 8-11 ohms...new or at least fairly new.” So another answer for “normal”. I’ve asked Mikey Pipes for the failure mechanism by which the contactor coil resistance goes lower over time. He gave me a BS answer which shows he has no clue: “wear and tear.” It’s a coil of wire. For all practical purposes, it can be said the contactor coil does not fail. The contacts themselves, yes. The coil, no. The coil resistance can vary by design. A higher pull-in force requires a greater magnetic field and hence a higher coil current. This results in a design having lower contactor coil resistance. As I said originally, there was no justification for replacing that part.

How the hell do you get such a clean basement to work in???🤦‍♂️ lol every flipping one I was in this week was a disaster zone 😢 one?? About a foot of dirty clothes an roaches running all over…. Yep that (“1”) had added Hazard pay on the bill !!filter had a mink coat the outside condenser was a number 2 dumping ground for good lord know what animals… gee you get the nice ones 😭😭😤 but a nice service job you done!!!! I would have traded you units tho… mine was full of raccoon doo doo an giant wolf spiders😱

Again you could get the air temp down to 45 to 42, but again, cost,cost,cost which btu per hour/ per kilwatt hour. Again the dhammapada-theravada buddhism full audio with text and music.
