Resident evil 4 is a master piece and MAYBE the best game objectively (the fan and critic favourites like resident evil remake and the re2 that sold more then ff7 or mario 64 are contenders ) but it in no way is the best resident evil. Thats just suggesting a mario cart is the best mario game, its like a whole other genre. shinji mikami said he scaled down the horror because remake although critically loved didnt sell well. The real reason was the silly exclusive deal with nintendo. the game cube although my favourite nintendo system sold terrible compared to the most sold home system ever the ps2

+Onarashin The Peppers' Daddy I totally respect your opinion, but if you polled all resident evil fans who played the entire series resident evil 4 probably would not be there choice. again resident evil is horror/puzzle with action series and the fans want that. resident evil 4 is a mostly action game and literally ruined the series. Imo it's worst because it changed things by being such a good action game its. one of the best ever made period. no wonder you can play it over and over, but it's not true essence of the series imo which is a survival horror ....... I'm glad you liked seven. I really did as well. I avoided it for so long and knew nothing after 2 years lol. dude I'm horror game junky and there's not many horror games. so resident evil cannot turn to total action :). resident evil 2 remake looks to have heavy action with horror+ Puzzles return!!!! Chris served in the US-Airforce. And was also a marksman & trained to use a variety of weapons including knifes and was also known for his hand to hand combat during his career, he served also alongside Barry Burton in his unit and became good friends before joining the S.T.A.R.S. Unit in Raccoon City. And that also explains why he's able to fly a Harrier in Code Veronica.

@@Nk_-1993 He also somehow kills the superhuman lady with a pistol that Wesker was afraid of, even though Wesker can easily kill Chris. Also he survives every bone in his body being broken somehow. Lets not worry about realistic explanations.

I must admit, Code Veronica was one of the most difficult RE games. I consider myself very good at the RE series, and this game was very challenging.

Definitely one of the best stories in the whole series and one of the best resident evil games

***** I enjoyed re4 and re5 but in al honesty those 2 games just weren't enough to satisfy my RE taste. those weren't real Re games. though re7 going to old roots is bs. Capcom is stupid.

i hoope so, dince 2 month im playing all RE since i never played once in my life, i played all games from zero to 5 , and code veronica is the only one i didn't, i tried to play it on emulator but... the difficulty is insane ! i just played half an hour and im already out of ammo with red healt and ton of zombie around me... if there are an RE that need a remake it definitely CV

@@Nameless0061 The remake of 3 wasn't bad, RE3 was just a bad game in the first place. Only so much putting lipstick on a pig can do.

This game is exactly why Claire is the most underrated Resident Evil character ever. Having to face impossible odds, kill TWO Tyrants by herself and having to endure Alfred's insanity and ridiculous behavior, annoying as hell laugh and also had to put up with Steve. That is why Claire is just AWESOME. She seriously needs to star in another game. Enough with games starring Chris and Leon already.

The scene from 1:15:49.....one of the sadest and emotional I seen in a game. :( Some game-cs'es can really make you feel for the characters.

Love the music in the Chris/Wesker/Alexia scene!

Claire is so beautiful. & I always love how mr Chris badass redfield came to save the day without him, the whole story of RE cv would have gone to HELL!! also feel bad for Steve tragic faith.. always love RE code veronica as 1 of the best RE ever made

I have only played RE1-3. But watching these "movies", gave me more satifaction than watching the live action RE2-6.

i love the original claire, specially her being wholesome, not cussing around like the remake. Hoping Capcom will put Alysson Court Back to voice Claire if they will make a Remake of Code Veronica. It's a kind of a hell hearing the new Claire cussing all the time huhu :( She is so sexy here but wholesome :)

Voices actors usually don't have a say in the script of their characters and the chances of a PG and up game not having cussing characters is almost if not 0% now. In regards to the actresses, Claire is supposed to be college-aged and the Claire in RE 2 Remake does sound like a college student with the same amount of sass. Her voice also matches with Claire Re Revelations 2 which just sounds lower with age.

Claire needs some time in the spotlight. The most we see of her nowadays is in shoot 'em up resi games and the shitty live action movies (degeneration being the obvious exception)

You forgot to include the parts with Alexia on the monitor singing, Wesker releasing the Hunters, the other Hunter cutscenes, the fight in the capsule room, and the Adult Albinoid boss battle. Why? It doesn't feel like the full experience without those scenes!

RE7 barely even had Chris, and many think it was really HUNK but they changed the name last minute...and that was the only tie in to the franchise, which I recall them saying there wouldn't be any so there ya go... But if Revelations 2 is anything to go by, they might reincarnate Wesker.

what a great game,the best from the resident evil classics

One of the best RE's out there still.

This was my first survival horror game and my second favorite RE game after REmake. +SPOILER+ ... : Alexia was a great villain. She's kinda mysterious and the story (Not to mention her crazy brother Alfred) really builds up to what she becomes in the end. It really felt like her monstrous form is a culmination of years of her insanity. Unlike in RE6 where the main villains just pop out of nowhere and mutate in like 10 seconds. Back then I was scared of Alexia. Just knowing she was nearby during the endgame got me really nervous. (I know she doesn't stalk you or anything but I was still scared. (I'm good at suspension of disbelief)) ( :

chopper pilot: target in sight, light 'er up. gunner: but two of our own would be caught in the line of fire pilot: OPEN FIRE!!!

Back then I remember looking at this and saying "HOLY SHIT THESE GRAPHICS ARE INSANE, AND IT'S SO REALISTIC.!!!!" Now a days I look at this and the new TombRaider side by side, boy do graphics change over the course of generations. Also the old TombRaider like the Ps1 version everyone was like "Lara's super hot" now if you look at the new Lara you almost feel like smacking your self for calling a bunch of edges hot.

However I do like how u put together the in game cut scenes, very well done!!!

probably the best resident evil ever... you're video is good but you should have left more time for the fights because alexia is quite strong and i would enjoy it again. it was to quick! but thanks who knows that this is one of te best RE of all times!

That was a very cute idea to upload all of this RE Code Veronica X movies in here and the cut-scenes the contribution have been made very well! :) U were using nice tricks against certain zombies at some areas like I always do, but at the beginning when u walk up on stairs and arrive in cemetery u don^t have to stabbing the zombies u can shuffle them off with an easy sidestep trick! :) Nice job btw! :D

Ahh, this brings back my memories of being six years old and sitting on the couch with a fluffy pillow to hug while I watched my mom's boyfriend play this game. My first exposure to the survival horror genre that I so adore yet cannot find the nerve to play. I've got the stomach and the skill, just not the nerve. I love this. I just got the entire story of the game in a nice hour and a half without actually needing to play it. I NEEDED THAT SO MUCH RN. thank

Shatamx re5 was great I couldn't stomach re6 it was a mess and too much its like Capcom didn't know what direction to take it. At least re5 wasn't a mixed up mess. re6 is worse.

Why does Claire seem so underrated? She's the least experienced character (as in, the only one without any military/espionage training), despite having Raccoon City under her belt, but she pulled all of that off in the introduction. You have to give her props for that.

4:48 - Thanks to this scene everytime I pick up an empty white pill bottle I feel a sudden urge to throw it on the floor and say 'perfect.'

i still don't believe That CGI Graphics was so good 15 years ago.

I loved this game. Played it on DC a looong time ago. Still one of my favorite. RE games. Only thing that is missing is that initial meeting scene with Chris and Wesker at the first base. What happened to that?

what scared me were the Hunters they were more of a pain.

the fight between chris and wesker seems to be missing, when wesker tell chris: "here's a little secret. I figured out that your sister is now in the antarctic with alexia"
