many people may not know this but this game actually was a comeback to the long lost charm of RE. After Re 6 it started losing its fan base and priority, it was a huge dissapointment and a stepback for the franchise. Capcom made a comeback by introducing this RE 7 with a new storyline new background new era and certainly new camera angles and thus fans loved it.

@Shiori re6 was really good. But capcom could have named that game Call of duty resident evil character version. Re6 was like a call of duty game Re5 was a African zombie action packed game. Only re4 was scary. Other parts were action packed

Nah it wasn’t really a comeback or step back. Re franchise always do Trilogy storyline re1,2,3 are all connected similar gameplay so does Re 4,5,6 and Next Re 7,8,9. Upcoming Resident evil game doesn’t always have to be scarier or has more action than it’s previous title.

@@godofdestruction3446 100% get what you're saying, but I think it also had to do with atmosphere, 4 was action oriented AND had a horror centric atmosphere. Res 5 and 6 lost that and just felt like action games with zombies. 7 Finally brought back the horror

Brooke XTC It’s because no major characters of the franchise were in it so they didn’t even think about it (trailer wise ) but in my opinion this is one of the best resident evil games I’ve played

@@rosooa5941 Look bro i'm just saying that RE7 imitate some of the concepts from F.E.A.R and Silent Hill P.T into their own concept. Both the main antagonist are experiment, while the setting is similar to that of Silent Hill P.T but not that extremely scary unlike P.T that even i can't watch.

western fans lost hope on the franchise after the biohazard 6. they didn't really love that game (one of the reason why is because biohazard 6 is more of a action game with zombie in it and not the survival horror game like biohazard 4 have) that is why they got surprised that Biozard 7 came back to the core roots of the game: being scary.

It is good game no doubt but its not a resident evil looking game 😂 more than silent hill P.T evil within type of game they totally changed the game old fan boys know what i talking about its nothing compare to re4/5/6 even 2/3 😂 since it released in 2017 i didn't played it only played that demo i hate this game why capcom did that don't know i thought re 8 will be same as re7 but it did great job it is way better than re 7 dark looking more silent hill looking game they did great job i appreciate that but as i said its not resident evil looking game they should named it biohazard with present timeline and they have to continue the old saga leon chris ada and jill 👌

So you judge and hate the game but never playing it? I play re 1/2/4/7 and I can say re 7 is one of the best resident evil game. A lot of old fan praise this game because it brought back the core of resident evil, the survival horror. It save the franchise after re5/6 almost destroy it.

People thinking that are people not able to accept change. "They totally lost their touch, doesn't even feel like RE anymore" lol the game itself is GREAT and they definitely have a lot of RE elements to it, it's just that the year it was released (2017) allows better development - hence the games will look different from earlier years.

western fans lost hope on the franchise after the biohazard 6. they didn't really love that game (one of the reason why is because biohazard 6 is more of a action game with zombie in it and not the survival horror game like biohazard 4 have) that is why they got surprised that Biozard 7 came back to the core roots of the game: being scary.

It is good game no doubt but its not a resident evil looking game 😂 more than silent hill P.T evil within type of game they totally changed the game old fan boys know what i talking about its nothing compare to re4/5/6 even 2/3 😂 since it released in 2017 i didn't played it only played that demo i hate this game why capcom did that don't know i thought re 8 will be same as re7 but it did great job it is way better than re 7 dark looking more silent hill looking game they did great job i appreciate that but as i said its not resident evil looking game they should named it biohazard with present timeline and they have to continue the old saga leon chris ada and jill 👌

So you judge and hate the game but never playing it? I play re 1/2/4/7 and I can say re 7 is one of the best resident evil game. A lot of old fan praise this game because it brought back the core of resident evil, the survival horror. It save the franchise after re5/6 almost destroy it.

People thinking that are people not able to accept change. "They totally lost their touch, doesn't even feel like RE anymore" lol the game itself is GREAT and they definitely have a lot of RE elements to it, it's just that the year it was released (2017) allows better development - hence the games will look different from earlier years.
