I missed 90s days I was young but those days are peaceful it has no social media no powerful internet although this we were happy not like today all entertainment things are there but the life is getting boring and desperate

I absolutely agree, and you posted this comment 7 years ago, and here I am, now just posting mine. Goes to show you that nostalgia can strike from anywhere at any time. I don't know why, but this tune is so freakin' powerful, and all it was was just an options menu theme. The 90's were the greatest of times and had the best memories, by far. You know when something like this effects you when your eyes tear for no reason. Your soul remembers when it was young...and nothing can take that away from you... I've been alone for years and have been looking for the right woman for me which is really depressing, so when I get home, I listen to these tunes, hoping that my other half is doing the same...thinking of me... We only live once... I hope I can find you...

RE3's got the best ambient musics, hands down.

You did a good job bro. Played this game so much I broke my copy. Had to buy another one. Such a nice game to play at night.

***** Got really scratched up and crack in the middle. I was using the PS1 slim. The white one. It is hell on your games. Taking it in and out of PS1 really messed it up. I keep my games in good condition. That is the only game that i had to rebuy.

Right. i see I am not the only one. PS3 is pretty gentle with PS1 and PS2 games.

My second favorite behind the Code Veronica save room Theme.

Fits perfect with the background. So much nostalgy...

and this is why this game is so great, even the option screen have a theme of it’s own.

without the original RE team..... they going to fuck it up.... like they did to the atrocity that is RE2 re-imagined. Shinji Mikami and the rest of the old crew wouldn't let it fly, they would pull a 1.5 on it and scrap it and force the new dev team to re-start it and make an up to date RE3 from PS1.... scenes and all.

This could have been looped better, but thank you for the effort and its still nice ^^

This and the classic save room themes from the trilogy and Code: Veronica were hauntingly relaxing and beautiful, like the music itself tells you that you are only safe for a moment. I know the classic save room theme in Resident Evil made me feel safe knowing that nothing could come in after me or an enemy wouldn't be around the corner.

Perfect gun cleaning music.

They just need to remake these masterpieces with same scenarios and put in more depth, interactivity etc. and that's it. Why they keep trying to ruin everything with overpumped epicness and stupid epic music is beyond me. These games were simple and that's why they were believable, you thought about so much in life while playing this. Same with Silent Hill series... And others. Old games were ART.

This theme and ada theme are wonderful old themes

Easily one of the best they ever did. Some of the newer songs are alright but classic RE just can't be matched, neither in gameplay/core mechanics nor the OST. We had it really good back then and i think many classic RE fans expected the formula to continue, and only improve but sadly... for us oldschool folk, that's hardly the case.

I miss being young and wish I would've known I would've grasped more of it 😪

Funny. I also used to do that but with the planetarium lifestream music in bugenhagens house in ff7. I'd sit there and just think and look at the planet's up there. That song is fucking amazing if you don't know ff then look up ff7 lifestream. I'm pretty sure that's what it's called

The Feeling of Hopelessness, seeing the Virus at a microscopic level, as it jittered in the background during that Menu screen. Made it all too Real. Their it is. That's what's causing this whole mess... The poor souls who lost their lives. That was just a game. And now, with this real life virus, strangely enough, it's all coming back... But, we'll get through it...

Resident evil music was unique and good to me. When part 1 first came out, we were shocked from the graphics upgrade from previous consoles like Sega Genesis and SNES. Even moreso was the sound quality. Sony had that top sound. We used to open our Playstation 1 while playing, take the game disc out, and put in a music disc for racing games. It worked until the game had to load. Ahh the nostalgia this brings me. I love this theme.

@@edivh_stories7287 Yes as was based on the Tyrant's of RE1,2,0, and UC, however, The Tyrant plant on Sheena Island, used child test subjects as a base. While Vladimir was the main inspiration for the program, they still used humans as a base too. And Nemesis was always believed to be a human test subject.

This song has always made me uncomfortable, especially with the cells moving around in the background.

Nemesis looks like such a badass here, why did they mess up the remake, wasnt anywhere near like the original Nemesis game, so disappointing. The remake could have been a classic in survival horror!
