i think she does this on purpose so the live performances are different and special. holding back (vocalist level holding back, that is) on album and then playing with the vocals live.

I’ve probably watched all of these performances of “Resentment” and each one is intricately different. From 5:03-5:09 definitely caught me by surprise. She’s so amazing.
