Beyonce has writers but of course, she participates in the writing process, so that's why you will always see a writing credit for each song she records. Her having writers doesn't make her less of an artist. Michael Jackson, Prince, Aretha, and many other legends didn't write their own music, but does that make them less of an artist? Definitely not.
